Here come the spoilers. In my fic series, Sonic is actually Chaos Project #000, created before Shadow, which explains why only he, aside from Knuckles, can harness the Hyper form. Sonic's true name is "Alpha Universitas"...last name ripped from Xenosaga but who cares. Hence the second name for this form, Alpha Omega (written, it is Alpha followed by the Omega symbol)

Now for a bit of curious info. "Omni" means "All." Alpha to "Beginning," Omega to "End." "Universitas" translates to "the universe", if I'm right. Can't be far off

Omni Sonic, Alpha Omega, Universitas "He is all, he is the beginning of the end, he is the universe." In this form, Sonic is physically, mentally, and energywise stronger than 90% of the main cast.

Before you say OLO GODMOD he only enters this form twice in the entire series...which is long...and he gains this form around the middle/end. So there. Hey, at least I'm not making my OWN characters better than everyone. XD
