I think it's mostly for fun and laughs. The artwork is very good by itself, I couldn't draw anything better (though that's not saying much), but instead of repeating the same thing everyone else has 1000 times over, why not have a little fun?

I don't see how. We're not saying this is terrible art; hell, we're not even saying it's slightly bad art! This is perfect by all accounts I can think of. We're just having fun and comparing one thing we like to another, no harm done in any way.
