I love how you gave her more of a stylized face, it really adds to her emotion. Sometimes I felt like in the DLC she was a bit emotionless and too serious, but I love the expression she has here.

She does not look like Elizabeth. She looks like Zeronis girl with dark hair. You could at least keep some of her facial features.
Take away the name Elizabeth Bioshock, slap on the name Guess who and I would have still been off the mark.

Dont know what you are talking about guys... Zeronis has his own style of drawing faces, just like all the other artists on DA. There's nothing wrong with that...

I am not referring to his style. I have nothing against it. I am saying that in his effort to keep that style he did not make Elizabeth look like Elizabeth: www.game-art-hq.com/wp-content… does this look like the girl Zeronis drew? She even has a bigger lower jaw, if we are to take anything at face value (no pun intended).
I am all for people having their own styles, but in fan art, a bit of moulding your style to fit the actual character's features can go a long way and not have someone look at her saying: Is that supposed to be her, cuz I can't tell?

I wish DA had a way to upvote comments just so I could upvote this. ZeroNis is one of my favorite artists and I've been following him for about a year (mostly for his LoL work) and this is what bothers me the most; I've gotten over the constantly overly-sexualized bodies, but every time I see a new skin he designed for a female champion I just think "wow this is a cool skin, but that's not how she looks".

You are exactly correct on this. Don't get me wrong, Zeronis has amazing technique but her works all look the same to me now after being a follower for a half a year..
You want to draw Elizabeth, that's great, draw Elizabeth. She doesn't have a strong dip in her cupid's bow of her upper lip, they're very round and full with a divot on the bottom of that upper lip so when she opens her mouth it's like the letter "m" stretched out. Her eyebrows do not arch drastically like that, they're very straight across with a slight raise at the far ends of the eye. Her eye shape is not a cat-like almond, but round and almost droopy on the bottom lid, making her look always a little sad. Her nose is more bulbous towards the end, and though it does upturn, it is not extreme like that. I mean hell, her hair cut isn't even right x_X it's a bob that barely goes past her jawline.. this one goes to shoulder.. else it's in a ponytail that goes past her shoulder bones in length.. and in all of her cuts she has bangs that go to her eye length roughly x_x
I know I cannot draw (much less color) as well as she does.. but please.. try and at least make her recognizable and not completely change her facial features and bone structure T_T
If you overlayed this image with www.deviantart.com/art/Yoko-Gu… (Yoko From Gurren Lagann) you would be hard-pressed to tell the difference in their faces.

I've been following him - Zeronis is a man, I am pretty sure he is, if the oversexualization doesn't give it away - for about a year and a few months and every time he posts something, I'm looking at the thumb, thinking: "Oversexualized clothing. Check! Grey tones. Check! Zeronis Girl face! Infinite check!" If I put all his drawing concepts side by side they look the same. If I put all his fan arts side by side they look the same. There is no diversity in those faces.
Heck! I know I barely can draw faces without at least some things being different, cuz I rarely do digital paintings, but he posts these once every week at least and is a professional. Sometime he had to realize that something was off. As much as he develops his style, it's far too uniform and ultimately makes all his drawings look flat.
I gave up watching him yesterday because I know what to expect and I don't imagine I will be proven wrong for another... two years at least. I'll come back to him in 2 years to see if he changes his faces a little, from time to time.
