'Don't look back' The crow caws, circling high in the skies above.

'Keep on walking forward' The cat meows below, looking at the mouse with a hungry look.

'It won't hurt if you keep walking' The wolf howls, sitting upon the mountain top.

'You have to forget sometime . . . don't you?' The mouse squeaks, finding the cat frightening.

Numbly I walk into an abyss of darkness

Where the light does not shine though

To where my heart will freeze over . . .

To where darkness cloaks over the feeling of a damned heart

If I keep walking . . . it won't hurt

So I walk for eternity . . .

Finding that the darkness's chill

To be the only thing I feel

I pray for the day the chill will make my heart stop loving that boy . . .

Praying that with the ice I will not feel broken . . .

'Just keep on walking and it'll be all over'

I tell myself every time

So walking is what I'm damned to do

Until my heart has frozen solid

I will find that place

'You have to forget sometime . . . don't you?' The mouse squeaks from within the cat's belly

'Keep walking and don't look back . . . If I do I will want to run back . . . to where my heart was broken and I will try to mend it with the thought of love . . . just to have more pain . . . so I will walk . . . no matte how cold it may be'

'That is a good girl . . . keep walking and let your heat and soul become one with the dark ice' They all say together, fading into the darkness as I fade along with them . . . no longer wanting to feel love towards him
