"You see the punishment she received?! If you think that you can go against me . . . then this is what's going to happen to you!" Dante shouted from the balcony of Hell's Castle, even though his back was to me I knew he was sickeningly excited about this whole thing. He had somehow managed to throw my father off of his throne . . . and now he was about to destroy everything he loved and treasured before the Angels and the Demons. I stared at him blankly, feeling nothing but pain flooding my body like wildfire. The straps that Dante had put around me had tiny knife like objects that imbedded themselves into my skin, around my wrists, ankles and neck, spilling golden red blood. My arms had been stretched above me and held there by a thick metal wire that would go up every time I moved, causing the objects to cut trough more skin.
