Description
There is an old belief that the butterfly was really a larcenous witch in disguise.this was origionaly a shot that i took in the butterfly exhibit at the Museum of Natural History in NYC...i was trying to do a high speed shot with a flash, but i forgot to set the shutter speed and the result was a very overexposed butterfly...me not wanting to through out the shot decided to play with it in PS....this is the result.

I do enjoy the purple tinting, and you definitely can't recognize the fact that it was originally a very overexposed shot; however, I wish you could have been more inventive with the text. As it is, it's kind of plain.

My sentiments exactly. How do you do it? This shot is brilliant; all the purples and different levels of focus make for a very dreamlike feeling. I guess the overexposure is what gave you the dense, saturated purple? It looks friggin' great.
And it's my desktop resolution, too! Hmmmmm...
