I know im alill late on asking but youre making this into a game? Please do, and if you do i will promise to give a headstrong review full honesty, music, art, story, challenge, puzzles, exploration. Anything that the old game was based on, i love that game so much, and still play it. Just make shure that the guys from quintet dont sue you for making sequel, hell if youre lucky enough maybe you would get some help from them

wow, es gibt tatsächlich eine fanmade Terranigma Fortsetzung die sich sogar zu spielen lohnt =O ich wollte vorhin schreiben, dass du das schöne Interface warscheinlich unnötig gemacht hast,.. aber ich hab jetzt in das Spiel reingesehen und muss sagen, es verdient das schöne neue Design wirklich (= ich bin gleichsam Nostalgiker wie auch angetan von DIY-Manier, und finde es toll, dass man nach Belieben zwischen altem und neuem Interface wechseln kann (= bis jetzt empfinde ich die Story der Fortsetzung auch nicht unbedingt als lahm - man hat ja allgemein unmenschliche Ansprüche an eine Fortsetzung eines Spieles was einen seit Kindheit begleitet ((= aber das soll hier kein Review für das Spiel werden l0l ~ dein Interface ist schön gemacht und ich denke du kannst stolz sein, bei solch einem Projekt mitgewirkt zu haben <3

Originally he uses long stafflike weapons, and when i say staff-like weapons i mean: spears, staves, forks, that three-parted staff(cant remember what its called, it works as a staff and a nunchuck like weapon, i think you get it in the spanish castle) and theres a battle axe or whatever it is, looks like one to me(the strongest weapon in the game) at the very least, the battlesystem would not be the same with a sword or bow or guns, def more fun/challenging as it is. And yes im going on my 7th playthrough on the actual supernintendo as im commenting on this

The battle system is transferred 1:1 from the original, there are only the various spears and lances.

? your question was, can Ark always/only use the spears, right?
and I said yes, as in the original Game, Ark can only use spears and lances as weapons (no sword, no axt, no gun - just spears)
