The legendary keeper of the soul lantern, she wanders the forests on cold snowy nights, her lantern guiding the various forest wisps.
Legend has it that she belonged to the a Princess known as Mō fubuki, and acted as her guardian up untill Mō's disappearance in the late era. Theres not really documented text on what had happened to Mō's guardian but the rumors passed down in the surrounding villages say the guardian was dispatched while trying to protect the princess, her body left in the snowy forest and a single lantern left by the perpetrators as a sign of cruel respect, its unknown if she froze to death or passed due to her injuries. She now searches for tadpoles and leeches who had succumb to the frost and snow, Her new purpose to protect and give frozen souls a warm place to stay in her starry veil until sunrise when they can finally move on to a better place, all the while she holds out hope that she will one day be reunited with her owner.
