Commissioned drawing for a customer. I absolutely loved doing this drawing of a beautiful border collie.Done with charcoal, 29.7x21cm.

I sharpen my charcoal pencil a lot. Maybe you should try a harder type of charcoal? I love the softer ones but it may work better with a less soft one for you, as it doesn't smudge as much.

Oh, that explains, I use raw charcoal, and not charcoal pencils (don't know where to get them where I live :\ )
