Wow for this tutorial, and thanks for being generous.
I just have a point to say, u can hear hear it or throw it away... lol sounds like a poem to me...heh heh
the point is:
Anatomically, the is one unique element of our body and one of it's amazing things that once we are born till we die its size still the same... oooh dear lord.
Another thing which is what I wanna talk about is the eye ball is made of protein, so it should have its reflection, not only the pupil.
I'm no painter or sketcher, but that's the feedback I could give.
Thousands must have complimented your "masterpiece" including me, but in return this was my feed back.
Thanks again.

wowie zowie thankyou! ive had a hand-me-down charcoal kit for a while now but never had the nerve to really apply it. the highlights using the wonderful gummy eraser and the soft over-all shading ideas really helped. thank you thank you someday i hope i can be as talented as you are!

Wonderful tutorial and detail. I've always been afraid of charcoal (left-handed), but your tutorial seems like it might help. I think I'll give it a try a bit later.

That is incredibly helpfull, but how do you get the white reflection bits? do you try to erase the charcoal (if so how to you aviod smudging) or do you draw it in with chalk so somthing?

**Heads over to look at the full Tut**
Your work is beautifully detailed and something I would love to be capable of... So... I will consume what I can from this tutorial and then practice.
So thank you for uploading and linking to the full tutorial.
As far as feed back... I am unskilled in the ways of art at this level so I don't feel I could accurately give feedback on anything other that my understanding of the steps explained after I have had time to digest the work. so... thank you again... and now I am away to read the full descriptions on the link.

Brilliant work Zindy. I find the lower eyelid and eyelashes extremely good. The reflections are so realistic.
I'd give a little more realism to the iris by blending the contour towards the white of the eye bulb. Just smudging the iris on its edge it would make it fade a bit on the white and give it a little more realism.
Keep up the good work!

Thanks much Luca.
I see what you mean but I didn't think about it at the time I did it. It would look more realistic with a less hard line and a bit more softness.
