Just messing around with photoshop one night with Dolter, figured out a kinda cool effect. Its nothing special, but the intent was earth, fire, water, and wind.Related content

Really nice. I have been looking for something like this as well.
One suggestion:
Since you are working with the four elements, it might be cool, and consistent, if you incorporated the four directions. Rather than both earth and water being "pulled down", perhaps water can be "blown" from the right, so it is the opposite of wind.
Just a thought.

Love the glow effects, each symbol with a distinctive color so even those who can't read the symbols themselves can tell which is which.
