Description
In 1986, Hasbro took some of the original Mini Autobots from 1984-85, made some mold changes, and released the toys as new Transformers characters. The original plan for Hubcap to be white and Tailgate to be yellow (as seen in the 1986 Toy Fair solicitation), but their colors were eventually swapped, making the final version of Hubcap distressingly similar to the yellow version of Cliffjumper.

If Hasbro had stuck with the original planned color schemes for the toys, Hubcap's box art might have looked something like this.
