Last night was the full moon and Supermoon of June. It’s called the Hot Moon due to the excessive heat of summer. The moon signaled it right. It was really hot today. About 100 degrees.I made this moon art to represent the name. The surface has a flame made by the Soft Brush and Liquify tool. I gave it some texture so it doesn’t look plain. For the background, I used the Flame Brush to create streams of solar flares blasting outward. I created big stars or suns with a edited Medium Brush, one of the default brushes in Procreate. I used a Starfield Brush from MiksKS’s space brush pack to create a space background with the flares. This made it look like that the moon was the sun.
Summer is near its peak. Be careful being outside when it’s super hot. Don’t get sunburns or heatstroke. This season can get crazy.
