If you can't tell, I'm really excited to see White Snake 3. I'm already making predictions for the movie.

first prediction relating to the art I've made. The whole snake demon thing is gonna definitely be a trans allegory, whether Light Chaser intends for it to be or not. Given the theory that this movie is going to take place between White Snake and Green Snake. I think this movie is going to tell the original tale of White Snake. Which from my skimmed research involves Bai Suzhen hiding the fact she's a snake from Xu Xian, and a monk outs Bai Suzhen as a snake, and tells Xu Xian to give her a glass of magic wine to prove she's a snake. Given that Xiao Bai's gender was canonically swapped in Green Snake, I feel that a trans reading of the movie is inevitable, and I will remind future me to make a review on how trans the movie is once i get the chance to watch it.

second prediction: We're gonna see Baoqing lose her tail. At the end of Green Snake, she had her severed tail in a box and she was talking about revenge. That was a teaser for the third movie, but this third movie doesn't take place in the modern world like the teaser. So I think we're gonna see how Baoqing looses her tail and who she's seeking revenge on, and the teaser doubles as a teaser for a fourth film. Like how the Yunxiang meeting Yang Jian teaser teased the sequel and is now doubling as a teaser for a third film. Or at least I hope that implies a third movie where Yunxiang and Yang Jian meet.

Third prediction: The RotBTD fandom is gonna make more edits of Blanca and crossing her over with Elsa again. And by then hopefully I'll persuade them into crossing over the New Gods series with the Snake series. Because I've grown lonely in my little crossover world and literally the only other frequent fan engagement Im getting is from Lofter. Which I don't know Chinese. The website is difficult for me to navigate. And it recently stopped website browsing and requires you to log in on the app (if what my shitty translator is accurate) and i cant do that, cuz again, don't know chinese. So I'd love some more fan engagement here on DA.
