Description
Location: Xilef's Quarters; the Castle of Illusion"Sire Xilef?" Erica poked her head around the door.
"Help," he whimpered.
"Why is there glass all over the floor?"
"I broke something." At that moment he sounded and looked more like a little kid who had woken up from a bad nightmare than a demon.
"Don't leave me!" he called out.
"I'm just getting a broom," she returned seconds later, broom in hand. She swept a wide path to the giant pillow.
"You looked scared."
"I didn't want to cut myself on any of the glass. I've been trapped here for over an hour." As she looked at him she knew this was no trick of his, the fear and raw emotion was genuine. His eyes were wide open, shimmering and ready to cry thick tears. She took him in her arms, holding him close and cooing softly. Tentatively she touched the base of his right ear. He shivered, but offered no complaint. Slowly she stroked the back of his ear, making sure she made no sudden movements to startle him. His left ear twitched, as if to say 'stroke me to'. As she complied a low rumbling came from his throat. His eyes were firmly shut as his head slid from her shoulder, down her body, and onto her lap. The cat demon's breathing remained gentle, seemingly unaware of what had just happened.
"Urm, sire Xilef," she nudged him gently. The blush spread deep across her face as she realised he had fallen asleep. As Erica moved slightly he nuzzled her leg, making her cheeks an even deeper shade of red. She put a hand on his shoulder, and in his sleep he purred.
Even before he opened his eyes he could tell someone was there. His amber eyes flickered open, his pupils widening. Sitting up he then pinched himself, and was surprised to find himself awake. Shrugging his shoulders, Xilef laid back down.

"I swear I heard Xilef shout," Luc stopped outside a door, placing a hand to it. Opening it he walked up all the stairs, but stopped halfway up. The door to the bridge which connected to a shorter tower was open. Shutting the door he carried on up the stairs. Poking his head round the frame at the top of the stairs he stopped. Seeing the cat demon asleep he rolled his eyes. Strolling into the room he cast a sleeping spell, but only applied it to the demon by tapping his forehead. With a glint in his eyes he smirked. Going to the other side of the pillow he looked down t the person laying there. He smiled broadly down. The maid was still asleep, and putting his nose next to hers he waited for the few short seconds until she woke. Her face paled in fear, her blue eyes warbling.
"This game is fun." Stepping back he was about to lift her up when he stopped. Instead he picked up Xilef's wrist. Dropping it he nearly fell into heaps of laughter.
"This isn't funny."
"But it is. He actually latched onto you," he coughed, trying to mask the chuckles he still had, "I'll leave you to it."
"No, don't leave me Master, please."
"Now, if you hadn't dragged me about by my neck, I might have been more than willing to help."
"I…"
"Xilef," he stroked t the cat demon's hair, "Do you want to let go?" The cat demon was too far in the folds of sleep to even notice. He waved as he left.
He yawned, showing off his fangs. Opening his eyes his pupils slit. He nuzzled the side of her neck with his nose.
"I don't like blue hair." He pulled back instantly,
"What do you mean?"
"Get off me."
"Erm – no," he moved closer to her.
"I'll tell Master what you're up to."
"You wouldn't dare," he licked her neck.
"I said …" Eric stopped. Xilef was looking at her with wide eyes.
"Stop it."
"But you like this don't you?"
"Stop it," she blushed. He was smiling now, the end of his tail touching her cheek.
"You're blushing," he chuckled, then touched her face with one paw.
"Stop stealing my servants Xilef," Luc dragged him backwards.
"What?" he stared up, not having at all realised the vampire was there, or had he just suddenly turned up?
"Erica, just who I need," the vampire smiled, grabbed her by the wrist and left.
"What just happened?"

Xilef sat on the bed, licking the back of his paw. His whiskers twitched, a smile on his lips.
'Two way game Luc.'
"Puss, what are you doing here?" she turned, trying to tie the corset top. The lacing escaped her fingers, but she caught the bodice before it could fall too far. Looking over her shoulder into the mirror she tried to catch the laces, but she didn't quite manage to do so.
"Eric," she called. The maid came. Xilef half wondered where she had come from, and what had Luc said to her?
"Sorry, I'm just all fingers and thumbs," she smiled.
"Why do you insist on wearing these all the time if you can't put them on?" Erica began to tie it up.
"Because they're here, they're nice. I just wish I had a kimono or another similar silk garment." Yawning, he settled down on the pillow, this was going to be a long but fun day.
