Description
These are the four people who make up Ziron's Gang, it's in the major story I'm writing. Since I did it in a Carrollesque style I decided to also assign each of the characters a suit, and when I later found out the meaning behind the suits I couldn't help but think that they were also very appropriate. This gang comes from the same storyline as Crow and Drakeom.
Ziron (as Mad Hatter), suit Diamonds.
He's the leader of the gang, and like Drakeom he is a necromancer. He's the one who founded the gang. One of the first descriptions given of him describes him as wanting 'Power, money ... women' (yes I know the same line is in FMA but it's a good line for someone who wants to rule the world), because of the money I gave him diamonds.
Alexander 'Blade' Guildenfreude (as March Hare), suit Spades.
We've met this guy here before:[link]
I could have actually assigned him either diamonds (because he has a trade of sorts, or because he is wealthy), or Clubs (because apparently the club symbol comes from Germany and it's to do with acorns, and Blade is German), but I stook with my initial thoughts of Spade because of it having the meaning of sword, but also as I found out it also meant nobility.
Frost (as the Dormouse), suit Clubs.
It was actually the last one left after I assigned the other three suits, but it works out well as it represents peasants.
Opal (deciding not to be Alice), suit Hearts.
Mainly due to the fact that she's in a sort of love-hate relationship with Ziron (there are good moments when they get perfectly along, and not so good moments where he ends up insulting her and she burns half his face off). Hearts is meant to represent clergy, and I suppose she is somewhat religious to her magic (she's a dracomancer).
And yes, both Frost and Blade are drunk, it's probably the only reason why Blade agreed to this.
There is an aftermath is here [link]
All Characters belong to me!!!
Though the Alice in Wonderland idea is Lewis Carroll's.
