Increasing color contrast. Quickie sketch for illustrating finding color where its not. Wasn't trying to be literal.The basic notion is that sometimes simply transcribing what you see makes the resulting painting/drawing feel without life. Lie to tell the truth. Find the subtle changes in hue and exaggerate them
