Description
The first in a series of Eternity War concept sketches. While the characters I'll be drawing have already been presented in other more limited mediums, I figured freehand sketches would be a more effective way to get a sense for what they'd look like.

Also, I should probably mention that Eternity War's story and universe were created by Icarax88 , longtime Spore buddy and fellow artist/writer. Check his art out.

Anyways, the first character I chose to draw was one of my own, Rexillion. Seeing as he was my first contribution to EW and I'm rather confident with my saurian-sketching abilities, I figured he was a logical starting point. But what is his back story? Rexillion is a highly disciplined demigod who serves the Order of Light and is the “brother” of Skornash, Demigod of Corruption. While his strength alone isn't as great as that of some other demigods, such as Brochtius or Tangarahk, his mind is far more honed, being both quick-witted and tactically capable. He is known for being very meditative, and will sometimes spend cycles alone away from his fellow demigods. He has also been known to visit alien worlds in a disguised form to gain an understanding about their way of thinking and take bits of wisdom from them. He accrued a vast amount of knowledge about mortal cultures in the time between Holy War I and the Paradox War (events that will be explained at another time).

Rexillion, like Skornash, refers to his fellow demigods as his siblings (i.e. "brother" and "sister") for unknown reasons. He is one of the closest friends of Confucius, and has an odd amount of respect for Fatalyze, most likely due to their cooperative efforts during the Paradox War. He is one of the only demigods that Skornash seems to trust.

Rexillion's personality is firm, but friendly. He is amiable to those who serve the Order and respects the thoughts of others. That said, he isn't the most outgoing demigod, and his kindness isn't immediately evident unless if he is approached. Rexillion's commitment to discipline often causes him to be overly serious and uptight, which Entriack, Demigod of the Elements, has poked fun at him for on many occasions. When dealing with enemies of the Order, however, Rexillon is absolutely merciless, revealing a primal ferocity that fits his saurian visage.
