Found a way to kill them off. Use a tooth trap and keep walking into it, even if you are standing right next to it. You can just keep resting it and they'll keep walking into it. And Krapius won't do shit.

I got the game last year so they hadn't even put in penguins by then, along with alot of other things.

I only got it a week ago and so far only manage to last 74 days before getting murder brutally by a pack of hounds. After that I had a new found hatred for Maxwell after he spawned my twice next to some tall bird nests... Poor Woody didn't stand a chance.

That's the thing, I have some rather odd yet effective way of surviving in Don't Starve. My longest survival rate so far is like 350-something and that file is still on going, i've made it so that I am now unable to die. Maxwel can send as many hounds as he wants at me, they die before they are able to get inside my base. I have been trying to set up a let play series but my recording programs keep giving me problems. But i have to say with the new DLC that released, it gotten a whole lot harder. I don't know what's worse, DeerClop's new ice ability, the hassle of making several different bases based on seasons, you can't keep hordes and hordes of bunnies in chest without them dying or the fact that Everything Can Now BURN ((fine if you're Willow but you're screwed as anybody else))! But the challenge does make things more exciting and makes normal mode much easier to breeze through.
Also Don't Starve really doesn't have an ending. There is adventure mode, which has a light story arch to it. But the game is more build on more exploration then story. There is some hidden story the creator love hiding in their trailers they release for the game ((Look it up on youtube and see what i means)) last two updates they release content about their next big update which is multiply-player which is getting a lot of mix reactions to it. But I admit, it's a lot of fun seeing all the hidden content they tend to hide, it to basically to hyped up the community. XD

I'm completely addicted to the game and to your awesome fanart (which, by the way, is the reason I started to play Don't Starve to begin with) ^^
When I played it for the first time I somehow managed to survive 23 days.. Probably because I was too scared of everything to try anything risky. In the end I was probably killed by Hounds..
IĀ learned to love Treeguards rather quickly myself - they are my "watchdogs" 
Leading Hounds to attack a rampaging Treeguard will calm down the tree and kill the doggies, so everyone wins. Having one walk around my camp makes me feel safe (don't know about Wilson though). That's why I love those big trees. xD

Yeah, I've been stalking you from the shadows for a long time now (saw this meme earlier as well). And the more you drew Don't Starve fanart, the more I wanted to try the game.
Then I made 2 good decisions: purchased Don't Starve, and finally watched you officially. xD
Yes, I've been having almost too much fun in the game lately. 
I've been sick the whole weekend, so I had plenty of time to play. It also cheered me up when I was feeling miserable (compared to poor Wilson in the woods - I wasn't feeling so bad after all.. >_<)
Haha, I actually fed a Deerclops to the combined forces of my "backyard Treeguard" and a village of Pigmen. Sadly most of the pig village was destroyed.. But Wilson got to live a bit longer. ^^"

I freaked out when i saw the Treetrolls it was just like unexpected and they wacked the shit out of me! This game is insanely fun i cant tell what is better Minecraft or Dont Starve. Still i think Wolfgang is a pretty good character because he can take a lot more pain than anyone else and his noctophobia counters his masculinity which makes him a character you can say aww poor guy to.
