Likes: Animals, music, talking with his UrRu brothers and Gelfling, drawing in the dirt, teasing his other half by pinching his own skin so SkekNit can feel it (it is a very common thing they do to one another), good friends with UrVa, UrSan and UrZah

Dislikes: What the Skeksis are doing to the land and its inhabitants, SkekNit's cruelty

Fears: The death and destruction of all the Gelfling

Personality: UrNot is a very loyal, kind and gentle Mystic who protects his fellows in the valley. He welcomes anyone who seeks aid or shelter from dangers, whether it be a fierce storm or a dangerous animal, he is always open to anyone who seeks safety. He has even chased off the feared Hunter once when a Gelfling ran to safety behind UrNot, though at first this did not deter SkekMal from trying to approach and grab the Gelfling until UrVa showed up and aided UrNot and SkekMal left. He is hesitant to use his spear unless absolutely no other option was available and if he could not sooth or deter an animal away with his words then he would defend himself and those around him, but he felt immense guilt and sorrow whenever he killed and often sang prayers for the animal.

UrNot is a bit cheeky as he likes to pinch himself on the arm hard enough for his dark half to feel it and it's a game the two of them do often at random intervals. Just to annoy each other. UrNot is quite light hearted, often calling himself the 'most beautiful' of the UrRu for still having dark hair. He's much more straight forward and blunt in his conversations and when Gelfling who've met him state that he makes more sense than the other Mystics he merely replies that while he and SkekNit are complete opposites to each other they both kept their bluntness.

His other half is SkekNit the Warden, a cruel and vicious jailer whom unlike UrNot guards the Gelfling captives and holds them prisoner against their will, UrNot only protects and keeps those seeking sanctuary from harm and lets them leave whenever they are ready and no longer feel threatened. SkekNit and UrNot are contrasting phrases of "To punish and enslave" and "To protect and serve"

Mental/physical disorders: UrNot has a limp in his right leg after SkekNit fell down a layer of stairs back at the skeksis castle and injured his hip, which they both suffer chronic hip pain but he is given herbs and medicine by UrIm the healer and UrNol the herbalist. He also shares an odd allergy to a purple fruit as SkekNit, wherein SkekNit ate one and felt dizzy, had difficulty breathing and then passing out. Both he and SkekNit never touched that fruit ever again
