Zoe thought she'd be able to take whatever came her way. And that afterwards she'd be able to look her captor in the eye and smile defiantly.

She was wrong on both counts.

As tears soaked her blindfold and ran down her cheeks, the Pentaclids fingers left whatever part of her body equally wet as the slime left telltale traces of where her digits had travelled. By now there was more slippery skin than dry. She'd long since given up on thrashing and squirming, now just hanging from her restraints and laughing hysterically against her will. She prayed to be able to block out the sensations that ravaged her body, but the residue the Pentaclid left only heightened the senses of her tortured nerves. She fell every twist, every stroke, every slip of her talented fingers as they slithered and wriggled all over her body.

Finally, after what had to have been an eternity, they left her alone. Panting and giggling from the residual ticklish feeling she felt her blindfold being removed and looked up into the Pentaclid's eyes as a strand of hair that was plastered to her face with sweat was pushed away from over her eye.

"Would you like me to repeat the question again Captain?" she beamed cheerfully. Zoe believed that she knew the answer already as the tendrils began writhing again and she fought to find her breath.

"you'll nev... never break me. My crew will be... be here to save me soon."

"Oh if only I was paid everytime I heard that line," the Pentaclid sighed trailing a tentacle under Zoe's breast, making her jolt and giggle. "But then I wouldn't have the pleasure of your company now would I?"

"Charmed, I'm sure."

"But I'm afraid, as I told you this bravado is for nothing. I'll ask you again in another hour. If you want to tell me beforehand... Well that's a shame."

The door suddenly swung open, flooding the room with light that burned Zoe's eyes. Kyle stood in the doorway, posed like the hero he was, come to save her in her hour of need! Come to...

"Girls, Rache, says she's fixed the hyperdrive. No idea what was wrong with it, but we hit it with a hammer a few times and it's working again now." He looked from Aiel'a to Zoe, back to Aiel'a and sighed. "So if you've finished playing puny earthling, you've got some hardware to get past a blockade." He left it at that, apparently not surprised by their game anymore.

"So..." Zoe said," as her wrists were unshackled. "Wanna pick this up when we get back?"
