Description Blore walked into the facility signaling one of the soldiers inside to follow him making his way to the elevator taking it down. The doors opened and the two Irkens walked to the door of Ryuu's house, when inside Blore had the soldier wait in the living room the other Irken watched Blore enter Ryuu's room closing the door behind him. What surprised Blore when he entered was that she didn't wake up instantly alert of everything around her like she always did when someone walked into an area she was sleeping in he guessed she was just that exhausted. Nearing the bed he saw the pill container was opened and a few pills were spilled on the bed, the pain from her ribs must have woken her up sometime during the night. He could only image how much pain she must have been in but she still managed to take care of it herself, he admitted she was tough not only because of her training that only helped get her to the next level she had always been tough and stubborn. That's what had impressed him when she first started training on some occasions her stubbornness was a good thing other times it was an annoyance. He moved to the side of the bed, "Ryuu wake up." Ryuu just mumbled pushing her head deeper into her pillow; he tried again, "Wake up." She just gave him an annoyed growl her eyes still closed. Sighing Blore brought his right leg up slamming his boot into the side of the bed his voice raised, "Ryuu get up!" It wasn't really his voice that woke her up but when he kicked the bed it caused the mattress to press against the bullet wound on her back as well as the jagged cut in the back of her right shoulder the pain made her eyes snap open sitting up as fast as her body would let her which wasn't a smart move. Ryuu quickly grabbed her side grimacing looking up sending a glare at the older soldier. "What the hell was that for Blore!" His expression was blank and calm like always as well as his voice. "You needed to get up and you wouldn't respond to my earlier attempts so I had no other option." Ryuu's glare was still aimed at him as she began yelling slowly shattering Blore's calm expression. A few seconds later Ammy walked up to Ryuu's front door wanting to check on her and see if she needed help with anything. The first thing she saw when she walked in was a soldier standing in the middle of the living room; he gave a small nod which Ammy returned walking further into the house. That's when she heard muffled voices coming from Ryuu's bedroom getting a bit closer she instantly recognized the voices, Ammy sighed shaking her head looks like her big sis and Blore were at it again, since meeting the two Irkens it seemed they were always arguing over something mostly because of Ryuu's stubbornness but it never seemed to be very aggressive arguments more like ones between a parent and child but she doubted either soldier would admit they were a little bit like a parent and child. Ammy wasn't worried about this little fight by the sound of it nothing was going to happen, she had seen one of Blore and Ryuu's arguments get to the point that she thought they were going to physically fight but they stopped before things got out of hand and stayed away from each other for the rest of the day so Ammy saw they knew when to stop. She walked to the door opening it now able to hear what they were saying. "I had to get you up!" "Well you could have figured out a better way couldn't you!?" Ammy saw the two Irkens staring straight at each other the expressions on their faces seemed annoyed rather than angry so that was a good sign that she could probably interrupt them without the threat of Blore biting her head off ,and having Ryuu scream at him for yelling at the younger Irken. Ammy walked in clearing her throat. The two fighting Irkens stopped turning to face her, Ryuu's annoyed expression turned into a smile when seeing the younger Irken. "Hi Ammy" She smiled at her older friend turning to Blore who only gave her a slight nod his calm expression returning along with his voice. "I apologize you had to witness another argument." Ammy smiled waving her hand, "It's alright I'm kinda use to it, and it didn't seem that bad." Ryuu mumbled something causing Blore to look down at her but he didn't catch what she said turning his attention back to Ammy . "Sorry but you won't be able to spend time with Ryuu right now at least." That's when they heard a loud voice, "What!" They turned to see Ryuu struggling to lift herself slowly moving to sit at the edge of the bed. "I haven't seen my friend in months can't I just spend some time with her first whatever you want me for can wait." Blore shook his head, "It's important it involves the data you brought back." Ryuu shrank back remembering what she went through to get it but understood giving a nod before turning to face her friend. "Sorry little sis looks like I have a few things to take care of, I'll call you when I'm done."Ammy smiled, "I'ts okay." But she was a little disappointed her friend had only woken up yesterday and already Blore and everyone wanted to keep her busy, sure she could understand the situation Irk was in but they could at least let Ryuu take it easy for a while. Blore walked past Ammy stopping at the door turning his head to glance at Ryuu. "Hurry and get ready when you're done call out I brought someone to help get you to the conference room." He opened the door his eyes still on her, "I also want a report of where you got the data, and what else you saw in there along with what happened after you separated yourself from the rest of the troops." Ryuu stared at the floor for a moment before facing him, "Yes sir." With that Blore walked out Ryuu expected Ammy to follow but instead she walked to the closet taking out a few cloths placing them next to Ryuu giving her a smile before scooping the pills on the bed back into the container. "I know Blore has something important for you to see so he won't want to be kept waiting too long, and I know it's hard for you to move around right now so I at least can make getting your cloths easier for you." "Thanks." She smiled at her friend relieved that she wouldn't have to struggle to just get cloths from her closet. Ammy put the last of the pills in the container closing the lid placing it into Ryuu's hand, "No problem. Call me when your meetings over so we can hang out for a bit." Ryuu closed her fingers over the container, "Okay." Ammy smiled walking to the door, "See you later big sis, and don't forget to bring the pills with you." "I can remember that on my own you know." The younger Irken smiled, "Of course you can." She waved opening the door. Ryuu gave a weak wave in return before her friend disappeared behind the door. She looked down at the cloths beside her sighing, now came the hard part of trying to get her body to move. She started changing her pants her legs felt heavy and sore from making herself walk even though she hadn't been walking fully on her own yesterday. After a few tiring minutes she managed to get dressed doing as Blore said she yelled out and a soldier walked into her room, and like yesterday supported her as they walked out of her house towards the conference room. Ryuu was worn out by the time the soldier set her down in one of the conference room chairs, Ryuu hated being this weak she hadn't ever been like this in her life. Blore dismissed the soldier taking a seat next to her, so far they were the only ones in the large room after catching her breath she turned to Blore. "Did the troops make it back safely?" He nodded, "Yes but commander Nes and Luch were lost in the battle." Ryuu looked away , "I see." She was sad that the two commanders were lost but was grateful that she got the others to leave the planet before things got worse. The two Irkens turned their heads when they heard the door open as the Tallest walked in followed by other Irkens who quickly sat down around the large table. The Tallest took their place at the front of the room, Red looked over at Ryuu. "It's good to see you awake, we thought you weren't going to survive we were lucky the procedure worked." She nodded glancing at him since she didn't want to try and move her head, "Yeah it worked but I feel like crap." The other Irkens stared at her apparently they had never been around her before those who knew her would expect her to say that. Everyone on Irk showed respect when in the Tallest presence they did the same to Ryuu even when she told them not to and they thought she would show the same respect to the Tallest, but she had been around Irks leaders so much she didn't really care so the Tallest eventually got use to it. "Well since you're a berserker your recovery will be quicker than normal Irkens." And she was grateful for that fact this would have been much worse if she was just a normal soldier she wouldn't have survived the fight with the Tairns berserkers let alone the explosion or procedure that saved her. Ryuu leaned on the table as Red started the meeting, "Now that you're awake I think we should start off with bringing you up to date on what has been going on since you have been unconscious." Purple switched the large computer at the front of the room on as Red began to speak. "The data chip you brought back did contain valuable information on the Tairns berserkers it shows how the Tairns transformed their soldiers into berserkers. The data contained blueprints for the mechanical devices as well as the chemicals that turned them which our scientists will work on replicating to find weak points. Unfortunately there wasn't much information on Nexin showing he wasn't created on Nork like the others. All that was on the chip about him was some early testing footage of his skills ,and by the look of him whatever we learn about the other berserkers might not apply to him he seems much more advanced than the others. Red took a data disc from his pocket sliding it across the table to Ryuu, "We copied the information we would normally show you what was on the data chip now but in your current condition it would be best for you to look through it on your own at home we'll be sending more information to you till your well enough to attend meetings again." Ryuu looked up at him confused, "More information? But this is all I managed to gather when on Nork none of the other commanders ever found any data so their shouldn't be any more to look at." Purple moved to stand next to Red taking his turn to speak. "We know that's why we sent some Irken invaders to Tairn to blend into their society gather information, and send it back." Ryuu winced straitening herself up as fast as her body would allow turning to face the Tallest with a serious look on her face her voice raised in shock. "You sent Irkens to Tairn do you know how dangerous that is?!" Both Red and Purple glanced over at Blore who put a hand on her shoulder signaling her to calm down but Ryuu's eyes never left the Tallest. Red took a step toward her, " What happened on Nork made us realize how little we know about our enemy, in order to beat them we need more information." Both Tallest moved to their chairs sitting down before continuing, "And yes Ryuu we're aware of how dangerous it is and so did they, we picked the best invaders Irk had to offer veterans who helped gather information for many of the planets we've conquered." Ryuu's glare never left them if she could she would brush Blores hand off and stand up challenging the Tallest but all she could do was argue. "But their just invaders what if something happens they aren't train for that kind of combat." "We considered that which is why we also sent some of the soldiers that accompanied you to Nork along with our best technology and weaponry to aid them." This just upset her even more that she no longer cared about the pain. Ryuu stood up as quickly as she could Blores hand still on her shoulder causing her to grimace when his hand pressed on her injured shoulder her voice still sounding shocked but also on the verge of anger. "After what they went through back on Nork you sent them into the heart of the threat!" Red spoke his voice rising "They knew the risks when they volunteered to go for Irk we had no other choice." In her weakened state it didn't take much strength for Blore to pull her back down in her seat. She turned facing him. "Blore did you agree with this too?" His eyes were still locked on her he nodded. "I did though I didn't like the idea either but we didn't have many other options." Ryuu spoke back her voice showing her rising anger. "Couldn't you have waited till I woke up to make this decision?!" Blore just spoke in his usual calm voice not wanting to argue about something important as this. "You know as well as I do that we couldn't waste any time in this situation." His grip on her shoulder loosened but not moving from its place, "Besides if we brought it up in a meeting when you were awake it would be much worse than it is now." She knew he was right if this was brought up while she was there Ryuu would fight for another option but in the end like many other times she'd be ignored, and the Tallest would make the dissension any way. Ryuu was only at the meetings to hear important information on battle strategies or anything relating to fighting and was rarely able to make any decisions, but this decision was already made there was nothing she could do about it. Blore felt her shoulders relax a bit under his hand seeing her  lean back into the chair he removed his hand turning his attention back to the Tallest as Red began to speak moving his gaze back to Ryuu. "No one besides Ammy,Blore and the others in this room know you've regained consciousness so we'll announce it today but the news will only be broadcast here on Irk. The Tairns think your dead and we're going to use that to our advantage. Once you've recovered we'll be looking into different training technics after we've studied the data chip a bit more in order to make you stronger the Tairns will be in for a surprise when you return." Ryuu sighed leaning back on the table, "Yes my Tallest." Purple gave a satisfied hum standing up moving to the computer screen, "Good that's all we need from you today Ryuu return home we'll contact you when we've received any more information." Blore stood up walking over to the door opening it sticking his head out a bit motioning to someone before fully opening the door letting a soldier in. Not wanting to look completely helpless Ryuu scooted the chair back a bit standing up using the table for support she slowly made her way to the soldier, he again slung Ryuu's right arm over his shoulders giving her some support. She didn't lean on him that much like last time as they moved to the door when they heard Reds voice. "Oh I almost forgot we saved this for you." Red walked over to her holding out a small box placing it in her hand. "The Tairns sent us your dog tags when they sent a transmission saying you were dead we cleaned and fixed them up for you." Blore moved next to the soldier giving him a few orders before he and Red returned to their seats continuing with the meeting. Once out of the conference room Ryuu let herself lean a bit more on the soldier but still didn't let him fully support her. Blore and others who trained her always told her to never show weakness it had been drilled into her head for so long that she obeyed it doing her best now to show she wasn't that weak. The two Irkens reached her front door Ryuu straightened herself up signaling she wanted him to let go assuring him she would be fine when he flashed her a unsure look but obeyed releasing his grip on her. She stumbled to a wall leaning against it before her legs gave out lifting her head to face the soldier. "I can take it from here your dismissed." He saluted before turning walking back down the hall, Ryuu waited till he entered the elevator before pressing her forehead against the cool surface of the wall wincing while a small whimper she had been holding in came escaped her lips from the throbbing pain starting to emit from her injuries. Reaching into her pocket Ryuu took out her pills deciding to take some before the worse pain from her ribs returned, she dry swallowed two placing the medicine back in her pocket pushing her body up keeping her palms on the walls surface using it to help her move. She leaned on the front door opening it, once it opened she held onto the door frame reaching her arms around grabbing anything strong enough to hold her weight. Making it to her couch Ryuu collapsed into the cushions with a sigh she couldn't wait till this feeling was gone. Ryuu reached into her other pocket taking out the data disc the Tallest had given her, letting out a groan knowing she had to go into her computer room below her house to look at it. Ryuu ran her thumb over its case slowly pushing herself into a sitting position placing the disc into a compartment in a small table by the couch. She pulled the small box out also opening it seeing her dog tags inside, pulling them out  twirling  the tags between her fingers before placing them around her neck stuffing them under her shirt. Ryuu took out her communicator calling Ammy knowing she should probably be looking over the data on the disc but she hadn't seen her friend in months and wanted to finally spend some time with her. She waited a bit before Ammy picked up hearing her voice on the other end. "Hey Ryuu your done with your meeting already?" "Yeah they just gave me a copy of the information to view on my own until I'm well enough to attend meeting again." "Well that's good at least you don't have to be bored to death sitting in meetings for a while." Ryuu chuckled, "Yeah at least there's that so do you want to hang out for a bit?" She was answered by a happy excited voice, "Yes of course I would!" The reaction caused Ryuu to laugh a bit even if she hadn't asked the younger Irken would have been here a few minutes after she called. "Okay then I'll see you in a bit bye little sis." "Okay then Bye big sis." She cut the call leaning back into the couch thinking of what she was told at the meeting even if she didn't like the idea of sending Irkens to a planet that was such a threat to them she had no choice but to accept that there was no other way to gather the information. Her mind wandered to the thought of what they were going to do with her once they found another way to train her, Ryuu thought she was done with everyone experimenting on her years ago. She was still lost in her thoughts for a while when the sound of her front door opening broke through her thoughts, Ammy came in the room with a bag. "Hi Ryuu sorry for taking so long I stopped to grab something to eat." She held out the bag smiling, "I know you couldn't make anything on your own right now so I thought I should get something for us to eat." Ryuu smiled great fully at her, "Thanks Ammy." The younger Irken returned the smile placing the food down sitting down next to Ryuu giving the older Irken a hug careful not to squeeze too tight. "I'm glad your back big sis Blore wasn't that much fun." Ryuu slowly returned the hug. "I don't think he knows what fun is, I wonder if he ever had fun before." The two chuckled before releasing each other, they spent the rest of the time talking Ryuu listened as Ammy told her what went on when she was gone Ryuu was happy that Ammy had gotten better in her defense training the younger Irken avoided asking Ryuu about Nork knowing she wouldn't want to talk about it so soon and didn't want the older Irken to have to relive anything that happened to her when she was there. They stopped talking for a bit to eat the food Ammy had brought. After a few hours she checked the time sighing turning to face her friend. "Though I'm having fun hanging out with you I unfortunately have some work to do." "Oh that's okay Ryuu I know you probably have some important information to check." Ryuu smiled reaching for the compartment in the small table taking the disc beginning to slowly push herself up. Ammy walked over to her helping support her. "So where do you want to go?" She decided not to fight her on this Ryuu sighed, "To the computer room." They took the elevator down when the doors opened Ryuu moved out of Ammys grasp stumbling into the room holding onto the wall looking back to see a slightly concerned look on the younger Irkens face. "Don't worry little sis I can make it from here my computer chair has a control that will take me to the computer with the press of a button." Ammy relaxed a bit nodding, "Well as long as you don't have to struggle to walk I'm fine with it, if you need anything call me alright." "Sure hope we have time to hang out again soon hopefully I can move properly by then." Ammy smiled, "I hope so too." She waved goodbye heading back up in the elevator. Ryuu pressed a switch on the wall causing a chair to come to her, she sat down pressing another switch on the chair as it started moving through the room she remembered how much she use to ride on it for fun when she was younger. It came to a stop at a large computer taking the disc out of the case she put it into the computer, the first thing that popped up was footage of her the Tairns had recorded from the battles she fought over the years. Guess this what they used to study that helped make their berserkers, Ryuu quickly skipped through them she already experienced them once she didn't want to see them again. Skipping the last of the footage she reached what was important sitting up in her seat she rubbed her temples a bit there was so much on the disc this was going to be a long night. Moving her hands over the control panel Ryuu began the long process of reading through information.
