A month had passed since Ryuu's outburst in the Tallest headquarters after showing them what she learned about Caim. She had to be sedated it was the only way they could get her away from the computer which was beyond repair thanks to her. Because of her behavior the Tallest felt she might be too dangerous to be let out for a while so they had her confined in the facility. After she had woken up from the sedative she had been restrained and Blore came over from the air base to scream at her. She also called Ammy and after asking a few questions the younger Irken began yelling at her too, asking what the hell Ryuu was thinking. During her confinement she'd have to stay locked up in a specially made room that was created to hold her when she was first learning to control the berserker inside her ,but they never ended up using it . The room was about the size of her bedroom with basic furniture like a bed, bathroom and desk. Even though she was being punished the Tallest couldn't have her stay in one spot doing nothing not with the situation Irk was in so she would be let out to train or test out the suit the scientist made but had to be restrained and escorted to the training room and back by soldiers. She still attended meetings but had to be restrained with soldiers standing next to her. due to her confinement Ryuu only got to see Ammy every few days the visits lasting only a hour or two with the door of the room between them. Soon staying locked up caused her to become bored pretty fast the only time she was allowed out was for training or meetings so on one of Blores visits she asked if she could train more. This surprised him usually it was a bit of a hassle to get the young Irken to train. Ryuu expected him to be shocked, this was the only time she felt the need to do more training. She needed to get stronger if she was going to fight against the tairns and go against Nexin, she had to get passed the berserker to get to her real target Caim. Blore spoke to the Tallest about her request knowing the situation Irk was in they agreed but if she showed any signs of becoming violent again they'd put her back on the schedule she'd originally been on. All Ryuu had to do was ask the soldiers standing outside the room to take her to the training room; she had gotten use to the normal drill of being restrained before being escorted. By now she was training longer and more than she ever had even getting permission to train wearing the suit the scientist developed knowing it would help speed up her progress. This punishment lasted for three weeks but even when allowed to leave the facility again Ryuu stayed inside putting all her time into training and studying information the scientists gathered when replicating the mechanical devices and bio structure of the Tairns berserkers. Blore should be happy that Ryuu actually took things more seriously but training was all she seemed to do even skipping meals sometimes, and when not training she was reading through files for hours rarely going to sleep. After nearly eight days of this Blore started to worry about her health. Not only had her routines changed so did her attitude , Blore discovered that he missed her usual goofy childlike behavior a bit but he was more afraid of what might happen because of this change. The look on Ryuu's face when speaking to Caim over the transmission was one he never saw before, he had trained Ryuu for nearly eleven years and knew the younger Irken didn't like fighting but the way she looked and sounded when she swore to kill Caim unnerved him. And with the way she acted now was similar to the way Urik did focusing on nothing but combat he feared she might turn out the same way and with her being a berserker they weren't sure they could stop her if that happened. Ryuu needed to get out of the facility so he called someone that could get Ryuu to do almost anything for them. So now Ryuu was in Ammy's living room lying on the couch staring at the ceiling deep in thought, Caims words were still in her head. She couldn't deny that he was somewhat right, both planets leaders were after the same thing using both her, and Nexin in the same way to reach that goal. But what separated them was the Tallest would never go to the extent that Caim did, and Ryuu didn't like doing what she was trained for hatting what she was born as while Nexin's whole existence was to kill he loved it he was proud to be a berserker. Ryuu was still in her own thoughts not hearing Ammy call her multiple times. Ammy saw she wasn't going to get her friends attention this way she moved to the couch standing over the older Irken waving a hand in front of the berserkers face. "Ryuu, hey Ryuu !" Ryuu blinked looking up at her friend with a small smile. "Oh hey ." Ammy smiled back, "So are you ready to go?" "Yeah." She got off the couch slowly walking to the door. Ammy frowned at how tired the older Irken looked she noticed the dark circles under Ryuu's eyes glad that Blore called her , she even offered to keep Ryuu at her place for a while. She and Blore knew how much pressure Ryuu had with everyone depending on her understanding that Ryuu had to get out of that building. Ammy followed her friend out the door to a cruiser that was waiting for them outside. Blore thought it would be best that Ryuu didn't drive assigning a driver for them to be on call whenever they needed it. The two Irkens got in driving down the street to their first destination. The ship stopped in front of an arcade ,Ammy thought this would be a good place to start her big sis always liked going to these. Ryuu saw where they were smiling jumping out of the cruiser running to the entrance yelling over her shoulder for Ammy to hurry seeming to gain new found energy. Ryuu ran inside looking at the games placed around the room gently grabbing Ammy's arm pulling her along, They played some shooting game blasting the targets on the screen. " Come on Ammy I'm beating you." Ammy looked at the points on the side of the screen, "Well I'm not the one with real firearms training here." She quickly raised the fake gun firing at a target. "That's not true I did teach you how to shoot before I left." The time limit ran out showing Ryuu had won Ammy put the gun back in the machine. "Yeah but you were trained longer then me and I never kept it up much after you left." Ryuu smiled patting the younger Irken on the back. "Well I'll just have to keep bringing you here till you can beat me if you can." Ammy smirked playfully pushing the older Irken. "Okay then but don't get too cocky, I will beat you one day and laugh at the look on your face when I do." Ryuu chuckled finally seeming to relax now that the issue with the Tairns wasn't on her mind at the moment. They played a few more games eventually leaving to get something to eat having the driver take them to a nearby food joint. Ammy watched as Ryuu ate well more like enhaled two large burgers and six cookies and no surprise either she hadn't been eating much these past few days. After eating Ryuu felt more energetic probably from the sugar from the cookies and candy she had earlier they jumped back into the car where Ryuu instructed the driver to drive to the nearest city. Ammy turned to her friend. "What are we going to do in the city?" Ryuu smiled shrugging. "Don't know we'll see when we get there its always more fun to not have a plan makes it more adventurous." Once coming to their destination the cruiser parked letting the two Irkens out. Ammy was looking around her eyes wondering along the signs, and building while Ryuu told the driver she'd call when ready to head back to Ammy's apartment. They spent the next few hours running around going into attractions, shops and building before walking into the center of the city both resting against a building where they could see the large TV screen on one of the tall buildings. Ryuu smiled taking in a deep breath it had been a long time since she was able to have this much fun and hang out with her friend , she'd have to thank Blore for setting this up ,it made her see what she had been doing to herself when in the facility. Both their eyes were on the large screen where some show was playing neither of them had seen it before but their attention wasn't fully on it they were mostly just talking and laughing when the show stopped. The two Irkens along with everyone walking by turned their attention to the screen when a female Irken news reporter appeared. Ryuu had a bad feeling about this as the reporter began to speak. "A few minutes ago a distress transmission was sent by Irken soldiers stationed on planet Lul. Tairn berserkers over ran them the number of casualties are not yet known but we will report on details once the survivors have returned to Irk that is all. The reporter disappeared returning to the TV show. Ammy looked around the crowd of Irkens seeing them mumble to each other with the same fearful expressions she probably had. She turned to her big sis noticing that Ryuu had moved from her spot against the building standing on the sidewalk staring at the screen jaw clenched her hands balled into fists with what sounded like a growl rumbled from her throat. Her eyes were still on the large screen feeling someone pushing on her back trying to make her move forward. The pressure on her back stopped soon feeling a tugging on her left arm hearing Ammy's voice. "Ryuu lets go please." It was probably a good idea to get moving if people noticed Ryuu was there they might crowd around her asking her questions yelling that she protect them. She relaxed her body a bit allowing the younger Irken to pull her away. Ammy didn't want to ask Ryuu to call the cruiser she couldn't take the older Irken back home like this, they'd just walk around until she calmed down. They really didn't have anywhere in mind so they just wondered around. Ryuu started to cool down seeing that they were coming up to a park suggesting they stop to rest a bit. The two Irkens laid down looking up at the sky in silence, the news report was reentering Ryuu's mind but she pushed it away she wasn't going to let this control her. Ryuu sat up seeing the playground a few feet from them, she jumped up running towards it calling Ammy to follow. She didn't know what the older Irken was going to do but stood up running after her. Ryuu came to a pull bar jumping up her hands grabbing the metal bar as she began spining herself over it like a gymnast. She remembered watching the older Irken children do this when she was younger she tried to copy them but back then she wasn't strong enough to hold onto the bar that long ending up falling every time. Ammy caught up watching her friend do a few more spins over the bar before letting go mid spin landing on her feet. Ammy clapped,"I think that earned a perfect ten score." Ryuu smiled wiping the dirt from the bar off her gloves. "I guess it was, want to give it a try?" Ammy looked at the bar unsure turning back when she heard the older Irkens voice. "It doesn't take any special training to do, it's just for fun." Ammy fiddled with her hands , "I don't know. I have gotten a bit stronger because of defence training but I'm not sure I can swing myself over the bar like that." Ryuu smiled patting Ammys head, "Don't worry I'll talk you through it ,and if you fall I'll catch you ." "Well okay but if you drop me no cookies for you tomorrow." "I promise even if you didn't threaten to take away my cookies I wouldn't think of dropping my little sister." Ammy nodded. "Alright then." She moved to the bar jumping up grabbing hold of the bar listening to Ryuu's instructions. "Now swing yourself as hard as you can to get yourself over the bar." Ammy gave it a shot but didn't get over the bar she tried again she almost made it but slipped off the bar. Like promised Ryuu caught her lifting her up easily so she could grab the bar again. Ammy tried a few more times before finally going over two times before stopping before she could let go Ryuu stood under her placing her back between the younger Irkens legs before looping her arms under them. Ammy knew that she was going to get a piggy back ride so she let go placing her arms on Ryuu's shoulders. She ran around the park with Ammy on her back a few times before stopping letting Ammy down on a swing sitting down in the empty one next to her. Ryuu was panting a bit she was done for the day calling the driver to come pick them up, the cruiser arrived both Irkens climbed in as it drove back to Ammy's apartment. The drive was long so Ryuu fell asleep but was awoken by Ammy telling her they were home. They walked up to the entrance taking the elevator up to Ammy's apartment room. They walked inside it was late and with all the running around both wanted to go straight to bed. Since Ryuu was kind of like Ammy's guardian she was supplying her friend with money being able to get her a large apartment with an extra room where Ryuu would be staying. After changing Ryuu collapsed on the bed about to get the sleep she needed when the thoughts of the Tairns and that had happened these past months resurfaced in her mind. Images of what happened on Nork flashed through her mind, Ryuu sighed rubbing her face feeling the long scar under her fingers wondering what would happen when she faced the Tairns bersrekers again. Ryuu looked at the door knowing her little sis's room was just across the hall. Ryuu sometimes wondered if she could do this or survive against the Tairns a second time, she continued looking at the door what would happen to the younger Irken if she died? Ammy had already lost her family but one thing Ryuu was certain of even if it killed her she wouldn't allow the Tairns to take Irk Ammy might have to relive the feeling of losing someone she cared for but she wont have to relive losing her home again. Even if Ryuu was gone the young Irken could still have a future, getting out of bed Ryuu grabbed her communicator hoping the person on the other end wasn't too busy. She waited hearing Blores voice. " Ryuu shouldn't you be sleeping, I made it clear to Ammy that she had to make sure you actually eat and sleep properly you will be no use against the enemy in bad health." "Dont worry Blore she's been following your instructions and I've tried to listen but I'll be going to bed soon I just wanted you to help me with something." Blore sighed, "Very well what is it?" "I want to set up a Will."
