Well, I did't think she was...But according to many parents and Hasbro, she got banned because of it. I'm not sure if it is my brony-ness that is making me blind to it, or the soccer moms who hated her just want to ruin a good thing. I didn't mean to offend anyone, and i'm sorry if I did.

No you didn't offend anyone. Derpy is not dumb, people just think she is because of her name. And that is actually misunderstood. The term derpy has many different definitions and one of them is clumsy. That was the reason she was named derpy, because she was a klutz, it had nothing to do with her intelligence. We all are clumsy once in a while. She was just clumsy more often lol. Like many other words derpy can be taken many ways. And everyone ended up taking it the wrong way. And what made it worse was her voice when she first talked... WHICH WAS A MISTAKE!. I forgto her name but the person who did derpys voice thought she was male. Which is why it sounded the way it did. Personally i wouldn't mind them keeping her voice the way it is now, but i do want everything else back to the way it was. ...if you read all of this then you have more patience then me lol.
