Update 11.17.22 - so while I was checking my profile while logged out earlier, I found out that deviantArt randomly marked this as mature for no apparent reason. I do NOT do that kind of art and I never will post anything like that. :/The Mask of Ice and the masked children from the Pokemon Adventures manga.
This originally started out as a doodle and I ended up going from sketching out the Masked Man to drawing all the other masked children as well. The piece went through a lot of changes while working on it and took a bit longer to finish than I expected, but I'm pretty happy with the result. Figuring out which colors to use was probably the most interesting part, especially for Carl and Sham (the characters on the left.) I ended up mixing the color pallete of the Rocket executive sprites that they were based on with their icons from Pokemon Stadium 2 which ended up being a good mix. I also experimented with the highlights on everyone's hair so I hope they don't look too weird.
