yeah i erase - not all that much though cause i somehow dont believe in erasing ; like it has to be right the first time otherwise its like asking for bad luck when you erase it. if i screw something up i usually take a whole new paper and start over again or i give up and try to draw something else. if it isnt right the first time, why try to force it or try again since it obviously didnt work out. bla. im blabbing. sorry. dont fall asleep! lol.. hehe what i usually do tho is after scanning the drawing, i touch it up in photoshop and airbrush the areas that are supposed to be white, white. thats how i get that 'whiteness'. photoshop is like my lifesaver.

I haven't ever played Baldur's Gate. I was really heavy into fantasy roughly 14 years ago (which is when I created my half-elf Link) but only touch on it sporadically since. The character design for Link evolved over time and drew from a lot of different things... the drow elf was just me adapting the elves of my own creation to fit the description given to me for the commission.

hey thanks for the comment on my sunglass concept. Yeah I realized too late that this face was getting kind of outta hand, but at that point I didn't really mind since it wasn't about the face, but the sunglass, as you mentioned
