I've got a city with a death race called Desolation Row. I don't want just American muscle, though. I've been poaching the interwebs for various incarnations of muscle cars. Every where from Germany to Japan to Malaysia to Australia: but I've yet to find any tenable muscle from the French auto industry--I believe it's there, and under my nose, but I still can't find it. Can you reference some top shelf hard tops from the city of lights?

I've already pulled some darlings from your gallery, but I was wondering if you maybe knew where I can strip mine more? Especially French and Asian models? Does India have anything in the muscle vein of automobiles?

hum, you search muscle cars like traditional american machines of the late 60s ( charger, daytona, hemicuda,etc..)?
Apart Australia ( holden,etc) and South America, I don't see much...
In France, there are 3 famous brand : Renault, Peugeot and Citroen. ( apart some concept car, ther is almost nothing)and otherwise, it was "small" sport car, like Alpine ( a310, a110,etc), Renault 5 Turbo, Matra bagheera, Murena, etc
Venturi produced in the 80s&90s some violent machines.

But Europeans cars are specific, we never made American cars' reproductio.
It's more interesting with the japaneses. They did a lot of "imitation" in the 60s,70s and 80s.^^

Thanks. I'm not looking for knock offs. I just always considered American muscle to kind of like art deco: it didn't belong to a singular culture (even though France was originally the first to be exposed to it by designers). What I'm looking for his a bare-knuckle, Mad Max feel to the cars in question. That visceral, aggressive pragmatism that used to be imbued in those gas guzzlers. They were shit for gas but masterful when it came to speed.

I guess what I'm looking for are cars with distinct finger prints: cars with a more butch personality.
