In almost every comment , user has a "quote" below their comment .
How do you make it ??

It's the "Comment Signature" under Settings. Hover over your username in the menu and then click Settings.

That's a signature, look for a signature option in your settings

how do you make the custom box's opacity smaller? ;n;
๐: 0 โฉ: 1
gillianivyart In reply to beagled [2013-05-29 21:58:23 +0000 UTC]
You cannot edit the custom box CSS. All you are able to do is mix and match dA's existing codes to make your own layout. I'm not sure I know what you mean by 'smaller'. Do you mean less transparent? Screenshot or link to what you mean could help.

Um, can you code the custom box in a group? I tried but it makes the background, but shoves all of the text down below to where the background ends.... Please help me.

Also note that you can't use CSS in a custom box.
Check out `CypherVisor 's page, as he has a lot of useful resources and tutorials for customising a page.

Hello! I was wondering if anyone here might be able to help me...
I'm not super skilled in css and HTML but I have done my fair share of things.... but aparently DA has set a limit on my capabilities.
I have been trying to get some info in the artists comments on this particular item [link] to show up as a patch of code for others to copy and paste so it is how I want them to submit the info. I've asked someone before but he hasn't really responded in a while so I'm not sure if it's just not doable or he hasn't been on..
Either way it's clear what the info is as it's in between the span code.. An I have tried several different ways and none have worked... So any help would be appreciated.

poserfan In reply to KuroEngel [2013-03-20 16:14:11 +0000 UTC]
You need to wrap everything between and even then some tags don't appear correctly.
In this case replace eg the first bracket with the ANSI code for it, then it works.

Hello~
I've been searching all over dA for the CSS code for redirecting. And by that, I mean a link or a button you can press in order to return to a certain part of the page (like in Wikipedia for example), or a link or a button you can click on a menu, just to go straight ahead to this section (such CSS is demonstrated here: [link] - dAWW) and go back to the top.
However, I can't seem to find any snippets, tutorials or open -sourced journal skins (Any free journal skins actually) containing this.
Thanks for taking your time to read this, and have a lovely day!

Hi. Can someone tell me what the correct HTML code is to have the text field within a custom box limited to a predefined width so that a set of characters that exceed that width are automatically dropped down to the next line?
For example, let's say I have an image that is 300px wide and I add text underneath it. How can I make sure that that text does not exceed the 300px wide but instead drops down to the next line as needed?
๐: 0 โฉ: 1
gillianivyart In reply to XZOTECH [2013-02-20 23:03:47 +0000 UTC]
This would require CSS styling to your HTML
.example{
width:300px;
overflow:auto;
}
The HTML would look like
"example" can be changed to whatever you like, but make sure it is typed exactly the same in the CSS.

I wonder do any of you know of a tutorial for skinning galleries? Because I would like to make my own for my group, The--Pure--Ones. [link]
Thank you,

Galleries have changed a bit, there are more codes than ever. I do not think anyone has made an updated tutorial, though `ginkgografix has a tutorial in her gallery. I have a list of codes that are in there (whether or not they are used, I do have little notes to help a bit) uploaded to my GoogleDrive. It isn't written out with any instructions, [link] but the little notes should help. You should be able to comment on it if there is a question about a specific part, I can try to help. Warning, it is a lot of code pulled and a lot of it may be unnecessary or redundant.

I'm not sure If I am allowed to do this but...
If you want your own journal skin, I make them for points. Ranging from 10-20
๐: 0 โฉ: 1
gillianivyart In reply to kisekinokami [2013-02-06 12:36:45 +0000 UTC]
You may state this, also there is a provider list on #eCSSited which you can ask to be added to. You are aware of the conversion rate of points to dollars? So you are asking between $0.13 and $0.25 for a commission. Here: [link]

kisekinokami In reply to gillianivyart [2013-02-07 01:04:16 +0000 UTC]
lol thanks, but points work just fine
๐: 0 โฉ: 1
gillianivyart In reply to kisekinokami [2013-02-07 16:10:18 +0000 UTC]
I was meaning the value of the points you are asking for. For example 400 is worth $5, so if you wish to buy yourself something with dA points, it will take a long time if you are only charging $0.13/$0.25. Unless, you are just doing it for fun and asking the points as a little bit of 'thank you' points.

Is there any code that hide the sub-folder bar? It's so ugly =ยด[
๐: 0 โฉ: 1
mercipher In reply to Bellechan [2013-04-07 11:55:31 +0000 UTC]
The 'sub-folder bar' in you gallery shouldn't appear to anyone except you; unless you actually have sub folders. Check if this is the case by logging out of your account and viewing your gallery and it's folders.
