I quit being an artist as I dont want people to be nasty to me just because I have talent and I work harder than them. I only trained as an artist in the first place because that was what I was good at.
It is funny how you can loose your job just by doing what you were asked to do on time to a very high standard. Especially if you are working longer hours than anybody else at the company.
Ok I am not really laughing.
Oh and I did not like the racist comments made to me by the management of Squarezero.
Anyway now I am training really hard to become a soldier,but not for the British army. I do about 5 hours of hardcore exercise a day.

The sort which in an appraisal meeting make it perfectly clear that the accused either has something against you or distrusts you on an accout of your heritage. Either way they do not wish you any good fortune and it is very hard to focus after such comments. Also the sort which are particularly heart breaking and soul destroying when you cared a lot about the people who made them, gave them your all and viewed and treated them as not only coleages but friends.

What pissed me off even more is that after I was forced out of the company (at the time I was voluntarily working for free as they claimed they could not afford to keep me), they continued to pour salt in my wounds by winding me up over the internet and asking favours (One of my managers who was particularly beautiful was even pretending she was in love with me just for attention), instead of just sorting things out by speaking with me openly and honestly, even after I had removed them from my friends on facebook.
I used to think that all people had some good in them and that it was my job to help bring it out of them, but I fail to understand why I deserved this when I meant well and was always loyal and supportive to the company and happy to adapt.
Tbh it does not bother me that I am not working on art anymore(there are plenty of ways I can contribute something positive,(I dont have to be recognised to be happy and I dont want to be an egotisical snob)), but the way I was treated does still bother me at times.
