Ah neat well, Im be turning one of my projects 'hopefully' into a RP Site or something but still pondering on if I should..since I have like...3 main Projects or so I want to complete...
Project 1: Re-do my info for my Universe, this is where all my stories will take place within this universe but within different worlds in that Universe.
Project 2: Work on my stories I wish to do..I have some that I really want to write..but have to wait until my universe info is done..so they match (though some stories are a Develope as they process kinda thing). Which well most of my stories are Fantasy/Magic based...I only have I think 1 or 2 that are normal with no magic involved.
Project 3: isnt mine..but helping a friend with hers...so im just here for advice whenever she wants to talk to me and throw me things to read through.

Well, I've become kinda a harsh critic of work. So it's kinda to be seen that if you wanna make something, you gotta make it damn good. You don't want to turn into Disney Star Wars that crutches it's story on social justice political talking points and turns a beloved gentleman ladies man into a pansexual deviant. That's not how you write characters or a story. Characters are more than their skin, sex, and sexuality and if you want a good story you actually have to work hard to develop those characters.

All I was saying is everyone has to iron out kinks in their stories. Even I am slowly ironing out kinks...Like ever since I decided to re-do my Universe information since I wanted to make it better then what it was, like actually create my own version of Magic, which I have done and it took me a long time to actually think long and hard on the info for it..and I am happy with the results I have gotten from it.
And that's Disney, they always do that...
And I know that..
When I create characters, I take my time..and when a character comes to mind I always try to write it up before I forget.
Cause I know what it is like having a character that is basically like dough.
I'm fine with half-baked characters, because there may be a reason for it, like the writer might be planning on having the character develop and grow within the story, instead of BAM here is all the info on this character and yada yada.
I Also go way over board with information, like for a profile...if I want it simple...simple doesn't happen..simple always turns into Loads of Details...I'd give you a example but..it would destroy the comment area lol.

I'm saying that you need to have a big fleshed out world that leaves enough to the imagination without overwhelming the reader with useless info.

Is why I am redoing my info..since when I relooked at it...it was like full of Word docs and stuff...but this is my Universe info which would basically be the Magic, Setting and other things..
And as I said, most of my stories will be like the whole release some info and have the rest like unlock or appear as the story develops or proceeds.

Cause as I see it...when I try having small information to leave enough to the imagination of the reader, people always ask for more information..

I mean you don't need a full character bio for every character you make. The world can habe some empty edges where it falls off cause the characters aren't privy to that info. Info that's useless to the reader or player.

I rather have it as a 'barrier' that they can't pass but if they try to it teleports them facing away from the barrier back to the Main land.

The Last Jedi was the worst movie in the series and had the worst plot points, plot holes, characters, and bastardized the whole series

Who said anything about giving away the whole story? I know for a fact that all book writers don't even know the full story to their own work lol.
All I'm doing is writing up information for me to use..then going to write up a small guide on the important terms or words used within the world/stories..So people know what certain things are, but other things will be left to the imagination.

I think we are getting confused. I'm not saying that I know what you do with your story, I'm saying I'm seeing it more and more now days that people do way to much info or give way to little info on characters they expect an audience to care about but either over explain it to a fault or under explain it.
About half the fan base hate it. And Lucasfilm are actively attacking the fan base, which makes how bad the film is worse. The people in charge aren't taking criticism, they just say the fans that didn't like it hate women when that's far from the truth.

True. But you need to plug up plot holes without just explaining things. Like what shows do you watch? One that I know is very very bat at telling instead of showing is RWBY. It's got many things like the subjugation of Faunus that are terribly done and riddled with holes.
It's very childish. Just cause Rey is a Mary Sue, and Rose doesn't do anything good to the series, and how Holdo actively works against the plot, and how they turned Leia into Marry Poppins, all ads up to they really just don't know how to write strong women. And Star Wars has tons of strong women. Just look at Leia in the original, or Padme, or Asohka, or in the expanded universe we have Kriea and Mira and Bastila!

It's hard work plugging up the plot holes in what's already established, but you can hide plot holes with flashy action or good characters. RWBY had both... until season 4. Fairy tail by what I've been told, also have both.
Very Mary sue. She doesn't even need to train to be a master of the force. She beats Kylo Ren, a Sith trained by Luke Skywalker and Snoke, twice. She beats him twice in lightsaber combat. And she barely knows how to use a staff. She could easily resist Kylo's mind probe too.
Of course they were, and they never deviated from acting like women either. They did what they had to do, whay they had to fight, while keeping their beauty and grace about them.

Fairy Tail is just full of...er...I like it but...they really needed to stick to one thing intstead of Flinging themselves all over the place.

Ain't gotta be damsels, but I don't think a bull dyke is super attractive in a story. The female form is the compliment to the masculine form, it's how it's always been for thousands of years. It's in nature that the fairer sex is more lean and elegant in design, posture, and work. If a lady is a warrior is unlikely they'd be on par with your average heavy troop, instead they'd regulate to light infantry and specialized jobs on support that compliment the worth of the woman.

I didn't mean that. Star Wars was one of the original subversion of the Damsel in Distress. Leia was a badass once she stopped playing diplomat.
I've no problem with a Thicc lady, but I don't think a big woman can do the same as a fit or muscular one. We don't necessarily need body builders, but a tomboyish muscle is very nice.
But it's a fun debate. Besides, we can't effect anything in the fields of media that the free market can't change on its own.
My projects start with characters that the worlds are initially built around then expanded to being bigger than who they are and what they can even do in it. After that, it's all about getting the world ironed out and the characters to work together while not disrupting the world so much that it eats up everything.

I started with characters cause I didn't know what world I wanted. The rules of the world were based on the rules of the characters bit made on a mass scale.

Alternative media is where the truth is currently. At least most of it. I tend to listen to the man who dislikes the gay frogs.
I mean rules like how the environment effects the characters. One of my characters is forever overpowered, but he's tiered about the same power of one of the angels in Dragon Ball. He follows the rules of worlds he enters and can be defeated by most enemies if he doesn't break world laws. It's why he's a side character for most other characters, but he's a main character to me as myself.
When I talk about making world laws I'm talking about characters like Arnor, like where his power limits are, how his race works, and how the environment takes a toll on him. He's a dog that can learn any and all sets of magical and physical skills, but he's limited to a time limit on needing to learn those skills and fighting his way across the world. Arnor decides to specialize in his broadsword and wind magic.

Well, he gets a lot of stuff right when the mainstream keeps telling lies. But he's not the only one I listen to.
I don't care if the rules get posted out there, it's the plot points that you don't want spoiled.
The key word is learned. Anyone can learn any skill, but it takes time. It's why I hate that Rey is so powerful in such little time where both Luke and Anakin had to take years to do so. Arnor will be an absolute novice at first, but he will grow and learn and have allies that fight with him.

Luke it took a while, since no jedi were about to really teach him until he found Yoda.

Sometimes. But yes Anakin was a protege, he did spend a good nearly 10 years as a padawan since he was only like 20 or so in Episode 3. Luke wasn't nearly as strong as you believe he was in Episode 6, and that was nearly 7 years difference from Episode 4. Episode 7 and 8 take place in less than 4 days.
