Well.. I dunno I just look at some of the stuff in DD and groups and think, I wish I knew how to get my stuff to look like that.

I've defiantly come a long way from when I started, when I fist picked up a DSLR I had no idea why the shutter speed was so long, or what the aperture was for.

I looked at some of your art, you say you did it with a ball point pen? Awesome stuff. I admire Tim Burtons stuff, and the only thing I can seem to draw with is a pen, one of those really thin pens, or one of those pencils with the lead that clicks out. Haha. I'm not that good at shading though. You're welcome for the watch ^_^ you're really kind. So thanks

okay...sometimes it is really like that: OMG!!! How did s/he do this??? *jaw drop*
but in life there will always be someone who is better...bigger...larger!!! I think it's not good to compare yourself to others...just do your thing...(^.^)/ *cheer*!!!

yeah tim burton is a genius...I also like his book "The meloncholy death of oister boy"...there are also drawings added...he has such a HUGE fantasy...I envy him for that...>.I think he uses quills and ink...o.O. Can imagine he sits at home...with small light...dipping his quill into the ink and start drawing what's coming throught his mind...*imagination started*

That's okay, I read that you where from Germany, I don't usually judge people on grammar anyway..

I'm part German, but then again who isn't haha.

I actually started photography with film, but as soon as I got the hang of it I got a DSLR for my 18th. I can't wait to study photography, hopefully next year or the year after. Meanwhile I'll continue to build up somewhat of a portfolio and skills along the way. I have a few people I can go to for help as I studied photography last semester in school. And I'm keen to come back next year (even tho I'm year 12) to do more, because I've been told there is a year 12 photography course now. And I need to go back for more lessons D: Worth it !

But before I got into photography I liked to draw, I don't know I've always been really artistic I guess. And I've learned to respect all forms of it.
