I'm not really, I have few freelanced experience. Not much, it's hard to even get the green light from gempak. Meanwhile, i am still trying.The company i got involved pun so so jer.
My work still an amateur work. Anyway, I am still not giving up. Still trying with my upcoming project anyway.

I applied for gempak also, but I didn't show them my portfolio, coz I don't have a decent comic to present myself.
In fact, I do comic once in a blue moon (the last complete 1 was 2 years ago!).
I wonder how to train myself to do a good comic. Can you share some tips with me?

I see, good comic to me isn't all about the arts. But you do know that gempak has lots of restrictions.
I don't have tips, but i do know that people likes my manga because of the humor element.
I do think that character plays a major role as well.
FOr comic, it's not about developing and design just the characters. It's about when will you actually start, and continue on drawing. U see, most people stop when they draw halfway.
Also, very important on how you actually develop the story...so please tell the story in the smartest way you can imagine.
I might be able to help to give further advice but i need to see your sample of work.

I have had a dream to be a comic artist, but realizing those story I have for my comic doesn't really attractive enough, I think I need to reconsider my comic dream.
Or maybe just in charge the character design part.
