Thanks!
I've also been busy. I've just finished my end of term exams (I spent my birthday studying ) and in less than two weeks I've got my final exams. Moreover my exams for college admissions are near! (panic everywhere! xD) They are during the first week of June. Too much work, sometimes I wish the day had more hours!.
Some good news: This year, I hope to graduate with distinction in English!.
I'm looking forward to hearing from you!

That's awesome about English!
I'm almost done with the reply.
Sorry, this semester I have a piano recital and it's coming up next week so I'm playing like crazy! Then I have juries where I play the same song along with another one and get a grade. I got an A last semester but this semester's music is longer and harder (that's what she said )
But anyway, you'll hear from me soon! Good luck with your exams!

Congratulations on your A at music! . And yeah I graduated with distinction in English!.
Well, I'm gonna put you up to date with what happened the last two months:
I graduated on May 16th, the ceremony was a bit long but it was emotional. The best part was the afterwards party. In the end the whole grade decided to rent a local with free bar (the legal drinking age in Spain is 18) although some of our classmates were under 18 but they brought a paper with their parents' permission so they also drank anyways. The party was supposed to be from 1 am to 6 am but they told us to leave at 5 am . But the party itself was hilarious, with alcohol people have no embarrassment and they danced to anything: someone put a flamenco song and some people started dancing xD,the boys did a circle and in the middle was Alex (do you remember this guy?) dancing flamenco xD, they also did the same when they put gangnam style xD.
The day after the party we didn't have class but the following days we had to go to class to prepare our PAU exams. We were all very stressed and worried especially those classmates who still didn't know what to study. In Spain you enter in a college degree by your 11th and 12th grades' marks and your PAU exams: the average mark of 11th and 12th marks are 60% of our college mark and PAU exams are the other 40%. The highest college mark you can obtain is a 14 and each college degree has a mark and it depends of the universities. For example medicine in La Universidad Autónoma de Madrid (the best university in medicine of Madrid and one of the best of Spain) is 12.424 out of 14, so generally people who want to go to medicine or other degrees which have a mark higher than a 12 must study a lot and have an average mark in 11th and 12th grade of a 10. Of course people who don't have the required mark usually go to private universities if they have money, and if they don't, some go to another Autonomous Community where the mark is lower (USA is divided in States but Spain is divided in Autonomous Communities), some go abroad and others go to the army specially those who want to study medicine or nursing. Most of the people want to go to public colleges because in Spain public universities are better than private universities. It's the other way round to USA where your best colleges are private and too expensive. But our corrupt politicians are raising university fees and making private our public health system (this is really pissing me off) because all they care for is money, I do not know where my country is going to end. They are doing the opposite thing that Obama is trying to do in USA. But corruption seems very common in the Mediterranean countries since ever, like Greece: the country who invented the democracy and had the first democracy in history and whose first democracy was the first one in becoming corrupt, how ironic. I really like politics and economy so I've watched some of Obama's debates, I also watched Obama vs Romney debate (although I didn't understand half of the stuff they were talking about xD, I need to improve my vocabulary) and I think that in USA you have less than 8% of unemployment and people there is worried well in Spain we have a 27% of unemployment (more less) and the unemployment among young people it's more than the 57%, THIS is worrying!
Everybody in my grade knows that we all are going to end working for USA, Canada, China, Russia, Germany or wherever they pay us for our works. And this is also in our minds while preparing our exams because we also need to learn languages in order to work abroad. This sucks, I love my country and they are just killing it with what Germany and the Banks called "austerity".
Finally I decided what I want to study: Ingeniería Informática (Computer Science Engineering) in La Universidad Autónoma de Madrid (UAM) which is near my house, it's public and it's among the best colleges in the World, especially in maths I think it's among the best 100 colleges. My friend Adriana ,who wants to study Maths degree, also wants to go there. When I finish the grade, I want to specialize either in Software Engineering in order to work for companies such as Google, IBM, etc or in something relate to science or medicine like Neurocomputing. There's an international project called "Human Brain Project" and they are trying to create a computer that simulates the human brain and I want to participate in that project!, I hope that when I finish my degree and if I'm good at it I'll be able to participate there. That would be amazing!
PAU preparation classes also had funny moments: One day in the other class while they were in Biology class, the teacher suddenly stopped talking and looked at one of the windows and said "Why the hell is Winston Churchill painted in that window!?!" XD someone had painted him with the cigar he always had and I think it was some of my classroom because we had History class that day xD. Our Philosophy teacher FINALLY used a computer to show us some PAU exams, he hates the computer he calls it "Ese aparato infernal" . And in Physics and Maths classes our teacher (it's the same teacher for both subjects) kept repeating the same phrase: "In my classes I'm not gonna teach you formulas because you can get nervous in an exam and forget them, you'll learn methods not formulas because the computers are the ones who use formulas and if a computer can do your job, then you'll not have a job because a computer does not get paid!" He was strict but he's one of the best teachers I've ever had. Also during Electrical Engineering class one classmate asked "¿Hacemos los ejercicios ahora?" and the teacher who's going to retire this year said: "Yes. ¿Veis? Sé hablar inglés. También sé decir yesterday" And we were like what? XD. In Electrical Engineering we were learning about engines and Ricardo, one classmate, found a broken mower engine in the trash and he decided to bring it to class xD but the period before we had Philosophy and the face the teacher put when he saw the engine on a table was hilarious!.
Oh and one of these days Alex realised that there were girls in the bus in Roma when he put his pants down and danced in underpants to the "I'm sexy and I know it" song. Half of the bus were girls (me included) and he realised of that like one year later xD. Oh do you wanna see our class "pet", we usually have plants but they always died because either we watered them too much or we just forgot to water them. This "pet" appeared suddenly one day and it's been in our class the whole year. This is our pet: link It's Harry Potter! it was stuck on the wall, see: link . My school was catholic so each classroom has a cross but someone put the doll higher than the cross, we are all pagans!
. I remember last year when in the classroom near ours one of the cross's nails fell off and the cross just went upside down and everybody was screaming "The antichrist!!!"
I also took my PAU exams: in general compulsory phase I took Spanish language and literature and text analysis (this exam is always so fucking long!), then I chose History of Philosophy (13 authors and his whole philosophy, in my option (there's always 2 exam options and you choose one) I had to write about Hume's empiricism philosophy and then I chose to explain Aristotle's philosophy of knowledge and Saint Agustin's philosophy of mankind) instead of History of Spain: it went from the australopithecus to 2008 and I was like "the hell that's gonna enter in my brain!" xD and also you had to learn how to analyze and comment a graph, a image and a fucking constitution (Spain has had 8 different Constitutions) so it was too much for me, I preferred to despair with authors who I didn't understand xD, I enjoyed study some of them such as Marx, Plato, Descartes or Nietzsche and I fucking lost patience with Kant(this guy took me more than 5 fucking HOURS to just half understand what he tried to say!) and Saint Tomas of Aquino. Then I chose English (duh!) for the language exam and for the exam of the branch I chose Electrical Engineering. And then in the voluntary phase I chose Maths and Physics, I sent Tech drawing to hell because I knew I was going to fail it so I chose not to choose it for my PAU exams.
Well at the end my college mark is a 10.947 out of 14 so I'm very happy! . Computer Science Engineering has a required mark of 6.140 in this college where I want to study so I do not have any problem with the required mark.
In this college the Computer Science Engineering degree have some subjects which you can take them in English. But I decided to take them in Spanish because, you know, an engineering is hard by itself so I prefer to learn it in my mother tongue.
A funny thing: I've discovered why I always wrote "extranjero" with G, it's because in English is "stranGer" with G! I've been written it wrong for years! The fucking grammars are mixing and I don't like it xD. I want to master English and also want to study Japanese, Chinese and Russian, my head is going to be a mess!

*sigh* Mu phone really is being weird. I sent a reply to this days ago but apparently it didn't go through. For now on I will only talk to you on the compy.
Wow! That is crazy xD
Can't really remember what I said last time.
I remember you said that it was crazy that I have a double period of physics. Yeah it sucks. It's every other day but it still sucks. Every since 9th grade, I've had a double period of science every other day. Everyone has it like this. I remember when I was in 9th grade I was hoping that in 10th grade we would have single periods of science for the rest of high school. How I wish that was the case. If I had taken a class like marine bio or forensics, I would have a single period but those classes don't look that great for college like physics does so I didn't take em. I guess I can't really complain though. The AP physics people have a double period of physics everyday. I would die.
I remember you saying that C's in Spanish were pronounced like Z's so words like "since" confuse you. That's interesting. We say our C's in Spanish the same way we do in English. Maybe it's a Spain thing? I remember learning that people with Spain Spanish accents say they're C's differently from Hispanics. Maybe that's why x3
I also remember you saying that you and your friends were singing Danzo Kurudo. I love that song! I just wish I knew what he's saying or at least what it's about xD

My God! Double period of physics everyday, I would kill myself. I'm fine with a single period, 4 days per week.
BTW I told you I failed physics and tech and I had to go to the retake exam, well .... I PASSED PHYSICS AND TECH DRAWING ! With a 5,25 and a 6,25!. But now that I think about it, I don't know how I could study the 60 formulas of physics that I had to learn for the exam xD. And in the tech exam I was praying for not to have to draw pentagons (I hate them I prefer to draw a dodecahedron) and at the end I had to draw 2 pentagons xD.
Now I'm the happiest person in the world~! My friend Amelia who also failed tech and physics also passed so we are both happy.
I'm happy if we ignore that the other day the English teacher entered in class and said:
- I've got a present for you!
All the class were like:
Oh no! Ella tiene un "present"! Estamos muertos...
She: - I've got new phrasal verbs for you!
We: Nooooo!
Well we thought she was going to give us another sheet (we already had two), we were wrong, she gave us FOUR more sheets with phrasal verbs on both sides of each sheet. So now we have phrasal verbs for five months. I hate that she ask us 8 verbs everyday. And everyday when she enters in the class, if she finds someone who is not sitting in their chair, she calls them to the blackboard and ask them to conjugate a verb, and when she doesn't find anyone she looks at the calendar and she calls to the blackboard to the person who has the same number as the day in the calendar. So to make sure that someone will be not sit when she enters, Alejandro usually hides the chair of someone so that person can not sit and the teacher will call him to the blackboard. The other day Alejandro and Javier turned over Pablo's table and chair so when the teacher entered he couldn't sit but the teacher caught them out so she called them both to the blackboard, and she said:
- Ok, you're going to do one verb each one of you, one in passive voice and the other in active voice.
Alejandro: yo active! (of course he wanted active because it's easier)
Teacher: ¬_¬ Alejandro do passive.
Alex: jooo
Javi: *puts a face like: take that! I get the active voice*
Forensics? Do you learn that in school? Really? I would not take that subject ever. Like we say in Spain "me da mal rollo" (it gives me bad vibes); I had enough blood in 9th grade when I had to dissect a lamb heart for biology class xD.
Oh you're right I remember my spanish language teacher told us that people who lived in Central and South America pronounce c's, z's and s's all like s's and that's called "seseo". But the pronunciation of that consonants only depends on where you were born. Some people think that the "seseo" is a bad thing. Personally I think that as long as the persons understand each others it doesn't mind. But our class will never forget all the sweets we had to bring for English class because of the /zity/ and /conzerts/ xD. But I think that sometimes you must pronounce z's and c's as z's because sometimes you may mess meanings. "Caza" is not the same as "casa". It's not the same to say: "Me voy a cazar"(I'm going hunting) or "Me voy a casar"(I'm getting married). Also in the south of Spain people "sesea"...well in Spain we have a mess because we have a lot of co-official languages, I'm glad that in my family we all speak Spanish (Castilian) because is the official language in Spain because if not, at family gatheings we would not understand each others XD. My cousins and my uncles (from my father's family branch) speak Euskera as second language (I don't know where the hell that language came from) but I asked my cousin to teach me some words in Euskera like "txakurra" (dog) "eskerrik asko" (thanks) and "hartza" (bear) and at first I was like "¿Qué?" XD but fortunately they speak more Castilian than Euskera. Futhermore my other cousin who lives in Barcelona speaks Catalán, it reminds me of a mixture of French and Spanish. And my mother's family branch comes from the Pyrenees in Aragón so they sometimes speak some words in Aragonés but in the modern one, the modern aragonés almost don't have any difference with Castilian only in some words that don't exist in Castilian and it also has some words with a different meaning in Castilian. The pure Aragonés is the language spoken in Aragón during the Middle Ages, now there're a very few areas in which they talk the pure aragonés. When I visited my mother's family for christmas, I was walking Flufy with my mom and she said: "El perro se ha esvolutrado en la rosada esta mañana". Me "¿Qué? Mamá no te entiendo. Traduce al castellano". Mom: "El perro se ha revolcado en la escarcha esta mañana".(The dog has wallowed in the frost this morning). Translation: Rosada (aragonese)=this word isn't said in Madrid but it can be translated as escarcha(castilian)=frost; esvolutarse(aragonese)=this word doesn't exist in Castilian and if you say it in the rest of Spain anyone is going to understand you xD but it means "revolcarse" (to wallow). Sometimes I feel like a foreigner when they say weird words XD.
Well I guess they teach you Mexican pronunciation while they teach me British pronunciation. But the grammar is the same.
Oh the other day I read something in the Internet that makes me laugh, a guy was saying that the people in Spain isn't white and I was like: "LOL are you serious? We Spaniards are like Frech and Italian people xD. We are caucasians like all the rest of Europe xD". Besides my uncle looks like a british, my other uncle looks like a Scottish, my aunt looks like a german (everytime she goes out of Spain everybody talks to her in german or in dutch because they think she's german xD. When I want to annoy her I call her "Tía Merkel" (Aunt Merkel). And my friend Amelia is blonde, she has blue eyes and white skin, she looks like a finnish xD.
Jaja yes to see Alex (Alejandro) dancing Danza Kuduro was so funny, yesterday he took Ricardo's drumsticks and started running in circles in the classroom, when Ricardo saw him with his drumsticks he also ran to catch him and when he managed to grab Alex of the arm, Alex made like a magic wand movement with one of the drumsticks and yelled "Wingardium Leviosa!" and all the class started to laugh, we didn't expect that xD. It's weird that a boy who is always fooling around and making jokes and traumatizing the whole class when he drops his pants (he seems to like to moon) wants to become a physicist xD. Alex gets 8 in physics!
I guess you already know FBI closed megaupload . Where am I going to download films for Saturdays now? BTW PIPA's and SOPA's Laws' names are very funny because sopa means soup and pipa means smoking pipe in Spanish. And do you already know that mobile phone, Nokia Lumia, "Lumia" in spanish means "prostitute" xD. I haven't heard lumia in my whole life but it sounded like Spanish to me so I searched for it in the diccionary and look buscon.rae.es/draeI/SrvltConsulta?TIPO_BUS=3&LEMA=lumia . My god, if you're going to choose a product's name in spanish first know what it means xD.
BTW How were your Christmas? Did you have fun? Our grade sang Shake up Cristmas by Train at the Christmas Festival of our school. And we sang pretty good, everyone congratulated us .
A joke in Spanish because I'm happy I passed:
Una mujer le dice a su marido:
- Cariño dime algo con amor.
-¿Con amor? AMORfa.
(A woman tells her husband:
- Honey tell me something with love.
- With love? Amorphous.)
Sorry for the late response I had and I have exams the only week I was free of exams since I started this grade was the week before the end of term exams

You have physics four days a week? What happens on the 5th day of school?
Congrats on passing your test! Did you study like crazy? Speaking of passing physics, I took my physics midterm not too long ago and just passed! I passed with a 65! One point lower and I would have failed! Talk about luck xD
When you draw pentagons do you draw it with a ruler or is there a certain way you have to draw on your exam?
Wow! And I thought my Spanish teacher was evil xD
She really drives you guys crazy. So is that what you guys usually do? You guys just learn verbs and conjugations? Over here we do a lot of reading and watching movies. Sometimes they're in English and when we're not there are subtitles. She just gives us vocab words that have to do we the movies we watch. Now we're actually reading some Spanish stuff. We're studying the poems of Federico Garcia Lorca. Do you know of him? He's supposedly really big in Spain or was anyways.
I don't take forensics but I could have if I wanted to. You dissected a lamb's heart? That's awesome! In the past, we've dissected a frog (once in 7th grade, once and in 10th) a worm, (in 7th and 10th grade too) and I think that's it. We never got to do anything that exciting. Although there was this time our teacher brought in a cow heart and he let us touch it if we wanted to. Of course I did! There was this one teacher (I wish our teacher did this to us) who brought in beef stew and served it to everyone. It wasn't until after everyone ate it that he told them that they were eating cow's heart. Everyone said it tasted good. Wish I could have tried it xD
Whoa! I've never even heard of those three languages! That's awesome! You said that they teach you British pronunciation, right? So does that mean you guys don't really pronounce your T's? A lot of British people don't. I think that's awesome! I wish I had a British accent. So your family is mixed? Your parents come from different countries?
Ha! My Spanish teacher is always saying how she's white even though she's Puerto Rican. She's like "We're all white." We saw this Argentinian movie and a bunch of people kept asking why they looked white. Argentinians really do look caucasian. Their hair color is sometimes blonde which I think is cool xP
Haha! Harry Potter reference xD
He moons the class and the teacher never sees this? Wow!
An 8 in physics? It always amazes me when the class clown gets really good grades. You always expect them to be stupid but then they end up being smart xD
Yes. I saw what happened to megavideo and megaupload. I hate Sopa and Pipa! I'm so glad they didn't pass. And I'm sure megavideo and megaupload will come back. They'll probably have a new name though. They have to come back! Those sites have really helped me out in the past. Now watching TV shows on the internet is a lot harder because they're gone. And no. I had no idea Lumia means prostitute. That's so silly xD
My Christmas was fine. I did have fun. Sounds like you had fun. One of the calculus classes went caroling through the hallways singing holiday remixed math songs. So instead of singing "On the first day of Christmas, my true love gave to me" they sang "On the first day of Christmas, my math teacher gave to me." It was funny. I wish my math class did that xD
Did you get all the presents you asked for for Christmas? :3
Wow! The joke xD
That joke reminds me of the joke: "Why didn't the skeleton go to the dance? He had NO BODY to go with!"
It's very corny xD
