I use 3DSMAX with a wide variety of plugins like ACT - Pro for doing muscles and VRay for rendering. I've been out of the loop for a while and just now getting back into it.

Oh cool! I use Maya, I've found though that more students use 3DSmax than Maya, so yeah. But amazing muscles! I've never really been able master muscles...at all but I just use skin influences. I also really need to practice more on my modeling becuase it always is so messy..never like any of the profesional pplz are. But anyway nice talking to some1 with the same intrest.
