Thanks for the critique the other day on my Deviation. I would like to figure out how to un-break the flow of the model. I have gotten a few similar comments, I intend to remake the image with adjustments suggested in mind. And Uh well would like to know if you have any advice on rendering techniques before I go at it? Thanks again!

ok, first off, I know your using poser, and for moddeling , thats a huge limitation alreads, it uses sliders to worp bodyparts and has no real tools for changing the object at a more detailed level.... If you can get hold of any free 3d packages, wings3d or blender would be a good start, this way you really learn how to have full controll over your moddels....
Ok, since you asked for some help, to achive realistic lighting, try to have about 12 spotlights in a shpereical arrangement, all pointing at your object, which should be in the middle of the sphere of lights... try to soften the shadows on the lights as much as possible, the render might take a long time, but post your results after you have had a bit of a play... try to make the lights just off white color... this technique is know as a global illumination fake... it simulates realistic lighting conditions.....
