AUGH! I must say that you have a terrific kid Loki outfit!
I AM DYING to get tips from this costume. PLEASE, tell me how you made it?
Thanks!

Thank you! I worked hard on it, so I'm glad (and somewhat relieved, haha) that people think it looks nice. :]
...Well, this could get pretty tl;dr rather fast, and I don't know if you're starting at square one or what (I didn't see any cosplay pics in your gallery, but of course all that means is you've never posted any here, not that you've never made a costume before), but I'll try to keep it more or less brief.
As a disclaimer, I'm not an expert seamstress by any means, and am almost entirely self-taught, so I probably do certain things oddly, but I think these basics are fairly standard. If you have more specific questions, feel free to ask and I'll do my best to answer them. :]
First of all, I found lots of reference pics. I mainly worked off of panels in Thor: The World Eaters because that's the version of this costume I like best. And even with excellent refs, things can still get frustrating, since...oftentimes the outfit design and colour will change from panel to panel, not to mention issue to issue. So pick what you like, what makes the most sense to you, and/or what's most common and ignore the rest.
Second, you should try to find a pattern that's vaguely similar to what you're trying to make. You'll have to modify it most of the time, but that base pattern can help a LOT--it's much easier than simply guessing how something should be shaped to fit correctly. Pay attention to the collar, shoulders, and sleeves when selecting your pattern base--the fewer things you have to change, the better. In this case I used a casual/workout jacket pattern, left off the sleeves, and made it a little longer.
Third, the material you choose is VERY important. Go for stuff that isn't going to wrinkle like crazy at the drop of a hat. If it's horribly wrinkled on the bolt in the store, you might want to rethink using it. Straight-up 100% cotton = bad news. Even if it's the perfect colour, it's generally not worth it, so you might have to look around fabric and craft shops a bit before you find what you want. Also, adding a lining gives the costume some extra weight, which makes it look more "real" and finished.
...And this is WAY tl;dr, so I'll finish for now by saying that from my own experiences, patience and practise (and trial and error) are a big part of things when it comes to cosplay. I learned so much making this costume, and look forward to applying that new knowledge to future projects. :]

Best tips that I could ever get!
AUGH, thank you so much! Just so you know I wrote down some quick notes in my notebook so I can remember. XD
For the material I'm thinking of a slim and stretchy fabric?
But, anyway, what I was REALLY wondering if you could maybe upload a few pics of you in your costume so I could get a reference pic for my seamstress? If you don't mind?? D8 (She'll make the majority of it, but I'm going to have to hand sew the gold parts myself!) I would really REALLY appreciate it since it'll make it easier for me to observe your costume to kid Loki's outfit in the comics. GAAAAauh, it would mean a lot to me if you did upload the pics. ._____.
BUT, I'm in no hurry to make the costume! I have till June to worry about fabric and all of that good junk haha. XD
PAskjdfoasdf but thank you so much for responding to my comment.

I'll definitely upload more pics...as soon as I have them, heh. Most of the ones I have aren't very good quality, and I'd like to take some nice ones. And no, I don't mind you using my costume as a reference at all! That's pretty flattering, really, though I'll be the first to admit that it's far from perfect.
In any case, I'll try to have more pics up within the month. :]

I couldn't believe I wasn't watching you already--I've been a fan since your mid-Inverloch days, and your art is so gorgeous. :] I LOVED Inverloch, and am loving The Phoenix Requiem even more; it's easily my favourite webcomic. Thank you for sharing your lovely artwork and interesting, well-written stories with us. <3

Much thanks for the watch!
P.S. I totally agree with you; dA is not the greatest place to post fiction (O fics, or Fan Fics) I've noticed a lot of writers prefer the FF.net/LJ/Personal Blog sort of thing.

Hi sorry for asking this of you but I'm new here and I would like to submit FanFictions like yourself to deviantArt however I'm a little lost on how to do it. When I went into the submit art I didn't know which category to choose. So if its not too much to ask if you can help me out here.
Thank you

No prob. Unless dA has changed things again, if you select 'Fan Art', the subheading of 'Fan Fiction' should also come up.
If you're confused about uploading things here in general, this might explain things a little. [link]
One final thing--from what I've seen, fanfiction isn't generally too popular on this site. If you want feedback, a better bet might be uploading it to Fanfiction.net, a fandom-related forum, or posting it on LiveJournal in a fandom-related community.
Hope that helps! :]
