Well, I have one person who is very upset, other people clamoring about art theft and whathaveyou and no real solid facts to take from. I have no way of knowing if you pointed it out or not, I have no way of knowing anything, the only thing I know is I have a good friend who is very upset. If you stumbled upon this journal, what makes it any of your business to comment? I will concede to you however, that I did jump at your throat without knowing what was really going on, and for that I'm sorry. I can no longer see what was posted, but if she's upset about what people said about "art theft", clearly it was done in an harsher way than necessary. All in all, if dA has a problem with demotivation posters, dA will take whatever action they deem necessary. There is no need for vigilantes, dA is grown up and will look after it's problems itself.

It's on the internet, so it's open to everybody. Sorry, but that's how social sites work.
Fact: ToS. Other fact: copyright laws (see FAQ #8: What are violations of the deviantART copyright policy? ). Third fact: your friend infringing them with the demotivational posters.
fact 1 + fact2 + fact3 = art theft.
Actually, there is a report button for a reason -there are millions of deviations on the site, and the mods can't check them all, so they rely on users to report any copyright/ToS infringements.
No one was bashing her for her work, they were just telling her about the copyright infringement she makes when she uploaded those demotivational posters on her other account.

Go forth and report all art theft that you see on this site. It is fully within your rights. I wish you good luck. Personally, my getting involved with this was foolish, and I have realised, I really don't care. This is between you and her, so I really don't have any business in it. Sorry again. Have a pleasant time railling against the scourge of art theft, just please do it nicely.

Cool! You should be here early though, because we should probably show up at least 20 minutes before the show. The plan is now my mom is going to drive us, that way NO ONE has to worry about parking in that mess. So if you could be at our place at like quarter after 7ish or earlier, that would work out really well. If you need to come earlier too that's cool.
And about going on Albert...my house to highway 11 is really, really, really easy and like 20 minutes faster probably. But it's up to you.
