I am a first-year student too. Our architectural studies include:
Architecture Workshop
Architecture Tools
History of Architecture
Theory of Architecture
Human Rights (Don't know what that's for )
Free-hand Drawing
And one other class which I don't know what it's called in English , has something to do with Volumes and suff... First year, we are not allowed to use computer programs, not until next year... And yes we do take individual projects and they are so tiring... We study from 8 A.M to 5 P.M and when I go home I have to study even more... Tell me about your architectural studies, maybe we can help each other..

basically some of these match. apart from individual pojects (i'm working on mine at the moment, but hopefully we can use computer programs, and i think it's good cause they aren't the easiest and i'm glad we started learning them as soon as possible). we did have a few lessons about them this semester but it wasn't the sort of learning you would want, basically we were shown all the basic functions and in what way they are helpful. besides, there is free-hand drawing, history of architecture, sth that i coul maybe call arch tools, but it's about materials and stuff, then there are some basics of constructions..we have maths for half of the year which is not really connected with our architecture that's everything that came to my mind at the moment. there aren't many of the subject, they are reduced to the most important ones.
and the next semester includes practice, well not on construction site yet but measuring arch and drawing that etc i cant wait!

and the hours are very varied, sometimes we start at 10, sometimes at 8 and have classes till 18..but i love that all
