Yup. Some pretty intense stuff. I hate character death when it's an actual important character, but I love the drama that comes with it! Like as horrible as it was I really enjoyed it! So many twists are coming up for chapter six!

Oh, yeah. Character death has to be handled really, really carefully, imo. And this story's gonna be twisting and turning all the way to the end...

It does. Minor characters it can be ok, but with main characters it can't be too overly dramatic because then the reader might not find it believable and it can't be too simple because then it seems out of place. You've got to find that happy medium.
