I really appreciate your feedback. I often compare myself against artists who take their work to a very high level of finish. But I have found my quick, preliminary sketches are often my best. However, as a result, I think my work is not completed. Perhaps I should be more comfortable with my 'rough, quick' style, and see those drawings as a finished pieces in their own right

Well in Art almost everyone can reach a certain realistic copy of reality, but few can really transfer parts of their soul on the drawing, pretty or ugly are just subjective, making it "intresting" though thats a talent and your art is instresting .
