What are commissions? I mean I've seen them around on other pages but i don't really know what they are... Are they drawings people pay for that you make for them?

Yeah it's essentially that.
Basically you say what you are willing to draw (most of the time it's characters), and then you list different ways you can draw it: art style, colors, shading, how much of the body you'll show, backround, detail, etc...
You'll then list the prices according to the different features.

I would have watched you sooner, butΒ I have this weird thing where I don't watch anybody on DA, and I don't follow anybody on tumblr. I just add the artist's/author's page to my google favorites. Your page, like many other people's pages, was added to that ever growing list.
But now I've ended up with about 45 favorites and I decided I should change habits XD
