I don't doubt it, although that is very neat. When I was younger I tried writing a story about how a medicine was made using alligator blood (I think they're one of the few large animals that can't get sick or something, they have amazing immune systems). A few weeks later, my dad pointed out an article to me saying that they were thinking that examining alligator/crocodile blood (I don't know which) could help somehow.
In Superman comics, during WW2 there was one where Superman was fighting evil scientists who were trying to split an atom, and the government told the company that they couldn't release that edition because, at the time, the government was very close to completing the Manhattan project, or something like that. I saw it on TV so ??

it seems certain that many of them act
