I go to a game store with a bunch of friends and play against them, and sometimes some other kids there that I don't know.
I mostly use 2 squads of chaos (one with flamers and one with melta/missile launcher)marines and a unit of plague marines.
I have Huron Blackheart(I'm going to switch him to Typhus once I get the model) and sometimes a Daemon Prince as an HQ.
I usually have one tank (Vindicator or Predator with all three lascannons)
Also, some terminators. I don't have the models for those yet but my birthday's in like, a month, and then Christmas a month after that.

This sounds like a solid idea! Many recommend transports for units, like the ones with meltas, rushing up in a Rhino and blastin' the enemy's big bad tank/hero/walker with a melta shot or two usually cripples them. Or so I've heard. A cheap shot.

Yes my list has changed.
For troops I have two units of plague marines and berzerkers (in a rhino).
The plagues have plasma guns. My rhinos always get destroyed, as do all of my tanks.
I suck ass at this game.
I mostly do it for the modding/building/painting.
I don't really care a whole lot about my birthday (I don't even remember if there was cake) but if would be awesome if you were on more.
Also I'm thinking of trying out Daemons also.

Well, over the years, most people have learned how to build the most unbalanced lists in the history of the world.(MELTAS, MELTAS EVERYWHERE.) Or they're just lucky. Or a little of both.
But, do you often face shooty or close combat armies?
You can't suck ass at the game, the game has no ass, so there fore you do not suck. Unless you made an ass to the game.

BUt still, do you change your list often? Most of the time a list have to get playtested a few time to find the flaws and such in it.
Agree! The modding and such is fun. And to share ideas and finished works too. Some might even ask for such services if one is good enough, and earn a few dollas in the process.
But it's also fun to display it to an opponent on the battlefield to make him go "Oh shit that guy's commander is totally gonna wreck my shit." And only focuses his shots at you Chaos Commander, and forgets the two terminator squads you are about to to drop in his face the next turn by deep striking.
Birthdays do get somewhat overhyped, but it's nice to get together with family sometimes too, time is not really one got much to spare. (I WILL BAKE YOU A CAKE THEN.)

When building an army I usually take every single option that I like/want resulting in an enormous list (5000+) and then pick the units out of it depending on what I'm fighting. I usually jam my army full of lascannons though (fuck yes predators) just because of their awesome stats.
I mostly play against who uses Tyranids, my biggest problem is how many units he can get compared to chaos since they so damned expensive.
When fighting him I usually try to get me some large blast stuff too.
I fucking love terminators but I have trouble deep striking them because I don't know how to keep them close enough to the enemy so they get the charge but don't get struck first.
Yeah, I like the get togethers. Shits cool, but everyone is always asking me if I want to go somewhere/do something and I have a hard time dealing with all of the attention. BAKE ME A CAKE WITH GRAPHITE.

They did release an updated Angry Marines codex recently.. Problem is that for each person not playing Space Marines, there are ten Space Marine players. Feels bad.

Yeah, it sucks when you have expensive units that later just gets rolled over by a cheap horde that outnumbers your squad
three-to-one. But it's good thinking with the blastmarkers, flamers are really good too for when hordes of Gaunts or Hormagauns suddenly decides to run up in your face but I bet you already know that so I should just shut it, asfkm. But you mentioned earlier that it does not always go that well when you play, what's the reason that your friend wins? Is it the hordes? Does he flank you? Is it that fat bug in the corner that keeps shooting all day or is it something else? (Or did he make a deal with something more sinister? The plot thickens.)
Deepstriking have that charm, it either fucks it up for oneself or fucks it up for the opponent if everything went as planned. No moving, except running I think and not being able to go into close combat sucks, but you get to shoot, which is nice if you got shooty Terminators, but for Chaos, Obliterators was better at shooting I think, atleast they kind of look so.
Ah, it can't be that bad if people ask if you want to hang with them and do stuff. But when you say that there is much attention focused at you, more than you might feel is necessary, is it that as soon as they see you they instantly jump at you and scream "PLAY WITH US"?

Great! Well, not "great" on the money part, but the lack of Grey Knights.
They had some rules that messed up Daemons pretty good(and other armies too, but Daemons mostly), think it was that all their Nemesis weapons grant them +2 to Strength and counts as a Power Weapon for everyone besides the normal Knights and as a Force Weapon for their commander. (if you wound something, do a psychic test, if you fail, it wounds as normal, if you succeed, INSTANT DEAAAAAAATHHH, WHAT THE FFF-) Enemy Psykers powers can be nullified if they roll the right thing. Daemons gets a minus for some stability test and leadership and when declaring a charge and move towards the Knights they move as if it was through difficult terrain. And a rule that if the enemy wish to shoot at the Knights, they have to roll three dices, then multiply the result with three. And that's how far they can see, if they have a range of 48" and wishes to shoot at unit 20"
away, but ends up with a result of 15, he can't see them, because of the Grey Knights are fucking holy. (sorry for blabbering)

I wasn't aware the Angry Marines actually had a codex. I sohuld probably give it a look.
Also I've been trying to work on some new terrain rules to make it more interactive, if you have any ideas it'd be awesome.
I'm honestly not sure, I always have touble with his Hive Tyrant (lash whip, bone sword, wings, paroxysm). Genestealsers usually end up getting the drop on me and he also uses the Doom of Malan'tai (and various other large ass bastards like carnifexes harpies, and mawlocs). All of this combined with staggeringly bad rolls.
I have not used Obliterators since they're really expensive and I like the heavy options I already took (I may replace the vindicator).

Well, the only rules I've really changed are for shooting through cover where if you're close enough (windows or whatever) you don't have to do shooting through cover. Also turrets.

Yeah, you could have the armor save get higher the closer you are to the weapon or something.
Some turrets would be operable and they would be controlled by whoever gets to them first, or there would be automatic turrets that shoots everything in range no matter the team.

I've never used a battle cannon before, I have a defiler in my army choice list thing but I've never used it before. They actually have worse weapon skill than dreadnoughts.

That's actually a good idea. I don't really know anything other than IG that use shotguns, bust I guess anything else that scatters would work. I'd have to find a good system for defining what's doing what.
I'd like to test out the turrets though, I even considered having NPC armies just to piss everyone off.
I don't know a whole lot of the writers and by that I mean I don't know any of them.. but what I mostly want is point cost reductions, these fuckers are expensive.
