I'm almost done writing a sci-fi horror. The pitch is thus:

Two mad scientists, or rather buffoons, build equally mad robots in the 1920's, imparting their personalities on the machines. When circumstances require the scientists to disappear, their creations wreak havoc on Europe, kidnapping and extorting people, and conducting unethical experiments. This story follows the robots' buildup, and attempts by people and governments to adapt, escape, smash, and steal their scientific secrets.

Seems to me like you just need a girlfriend, man.

For example, Warhammer 40K is considered by many the holy grail of grimdark, and even fans who love it also poke fun at how ridiculous it is.

I have a story called 80 Dream. Its a little on the dark side but formatted I doubt that counts haha.
Rockets just ahh he is my fave as of now. I really hope I can start writing the story so I can draw it out.

From my experience with my own project, you have to willfully put other stuff aside, and then once the personal project begins, it feels really gratifying to get off the chest.

"80 Dream" Lol the title of this story is explained in the beginning.
Yeah I have a vague structure with some actual stories complete or like events.
I have no ending Im stuck with that and there are some holes haha. But Ive been thinking up this story since I was 7. Now its just a little more practical!

You don't know what your story is even ABOUT if you don't know the ending. That's my stance. Or maybe an ending is unnecessary, and you should just make stand-alone episodes. Yep.

Well tchyeah. That's why it's not just about defeating the villain, but about defeating the emotion or changing the situation that the villain created for the hero. That's why it's good to have an epilogue showing how things have changed for the hero and all the supporting characters.

Totally the main hero was very like optimistic which was like getting in his way. He was too nice. He eventually found a way around that...eventually he lost someone dear to him and he started getting a little pessimistic. I think I know I want the villain and main hero to die. I feel like the heroes death is constantly being foreshadowed.

Well that's all well and good, but you must illustrated it. It has similarities to my own current big project. I like the suspense created when anyone can die, yet the plot continues.

I've already made the ED (ending credits animation), character designs and vehicle designs, and will probably make the OP (opening animation) as well. If all goes well, I may even have time to make the first episode.
