I like your stuff but had just read your journal entry
about giving up. I was hoping that you hadn't.Β Β
So many I run across do NOT want constructive criticism (which to me is essential if you want
Β to get better) that I was kind of surprised to find someone with the reverse situation.

HAhaha well I'm close to giving up again, I feel like I'm not going forward,
with me I have like real bad ups and downs, I try not to give up but it's hard sometimes.
it means a lot to me to hear from someone that they like my art though. Thank you so much!
And yes constructive criticism is always good, and it helps getting better, other people often see good and bad things about your work that you miss, bashing someones work is not helpful either but constructive critism brought in a positive way for me, is always more then welcome... but it seems I'm not that well known enough to get a lot of comments or criqitue bakc hahaha...

Sure thing.
Yes constructive is the key. Someone saying "that sucks" is not helpful at all but saying "I like what you have so far but following your light source you are missing drop and cast
shadows here and here" is. I often will go so far as to show them in an animation or a paint over and accompanying text if I know what is amiss. Even with professional artists.
