Had an x-ray done today and they found you in my heart. The doctor said if they took you out, I would die because I couldn't live without such a good friend. Give this heart to everyone you don't want to lose in 2012. Be honest and send this to anyone who made you smile this year.

I am glad to hear that you are doing better. The thing with grief is that it is exponential decay. Things get better with time but you never really 'move on' from it. There will always be times when the death becomes relevant again, especially when you get involved with something that honors his memory.

Yes I've noticed that :/ There have been times when it's really hit me and I can't get my mind off him; and then there are times when I think about him and forget about him within 5 minutes. But thank you so very much for your help! It really touches me that someone I've never really talked to before is showing so much kindness towards me

You are always welcome. I know about this side of grief because I have lost three friends to untimely deaths. Grief also has many different flavors, each with their own battles. I am glad you are doing at least somewhat better now.

That's no good!! I hope you have some kind of health insurance to pay for all of this! I'm sure it's not cheap! I would suggest eating bacon, but I know you don't eat meat. I know that sounds odd, but bacon has helped me get better in the past, whether it was a cold, or a stomach ache, if I ate some and then took a nap, I felt better when I got up!

I do eat meat but very rarely and not all kinds, I haven't tried to eat bacon in ages so I don't even know if it's among those I feel I can eat. Some things I avoid completely though like calf and lamb.

Well, I do live on the coast, but the beaches around here are all rocky. Old Orchard Beach is all sand, and they have all kinds of little shops you can visit. Plus they have a small amusement park and an arcade
Oh sorry! I thought you didn't eat meat... I don't eat calf either. I think it's cruel to end a young life just for the meat. I've never tried lamb, though. I love bacon, as long as it's cooked right. Every time I had it in Europe it was under cooked. It also didn't have any salt on it. Here all the bacon comes with salt and lots of it (probably one of the reasons America has the highest obesity problem). But I think the high salt content is the reason bacon has helped me get better.

That's probably a good thing that you don't have a lot of salt. I don't add it to any of my foods. Meat is another thing that you shouldn't eat a lot of, so it's good for your health that you only eat it when you crave it!
