Non! You absolutely fall into the category of the absurd and the potentially misinterpreted. In fact, the poem about the manatee was a dual effort on my boyfriend and my part deciphering the cryptic allusions and metaphors. It was brilliant while being so verbose that only a select audience of people who really took the time in enjoying the words to piece together what they might actually be getting at.

It's more a compliment to be misunderstood while accurately representing your vision with your specific crafting of structure and word-choice. The art means more than those comprehending it.
