*okay, the depths of the ocean was the last place she would look, but she was in need of a friend. since he was part angler, she figured she could find him in that trench she saw him swim in and out of as she relaxed on the coral. she hadn't been this far down before, not only did it scare her, her shark instincts were telling her to get out and fast*

* After testing his goggles all summer, Rukeke decided that what would really do him some good was a peaceful swim in the darker recesses of the ocean. Suddenly he felt something shadowing overhead, peeking a lazy eye open he saw someone was making there way down the trench opening. Curiously he slowly made his way up to meet whatever the creature was.*

*by this point Furara had begun the dangerous swim down, despite the waters becoming an uncomfortable temperature and pressure. with a flicker of movement down below, she was headed for the surface in a flash of bubbles, not knowing the effects of rising too quickly in the ocean. looks like she'll have to learn the hard way then*

* He slowly swam upward trying to see who the mysterious person was only to be met with a sudden turn around and a mist of bubbles. Startled he pushed himself back, readying for an attack, and was surprised to see them hurrying off.* How... odd. * Looking over he watched as the person swam at breaking speed to the surface. He knew that at that rate the person was in danger and went as fast as he could after them.* I pray thee halt or thou shall't hurt thineself!!!

*his warning came a little too late as she settled on a piece of coral, not too far away. the accent had given her a headache and dizziness, but it wasn't anything bad. she wished she could return to the surface for more air, but she would have to wait a while longer. she closed her eyes, praying the pain in her head would stop soon*

* Once he caught up to her, he realized that the person was in fact Furara!! By the looks of it she had over done it.* Hold still Lady Furara. It shall pass thee soon, just breath slowly. * He gingerly placed his hands on her trying to give her some comfort.*

*her eyes almost opened on contact and she looked up at him. noticing her close friend and companion, she smiled gingerly* Okay Rukeke san... *the epaulette shark closed her eyes again, taking deep breaths*

*the pangs from were slowly ebbing away, enabling her to look at him* You accidentally startled me, I thought you were Raiyoyo or Rokuku. *Furara knew these two well from the devil fish tribe, and both hated her with a passion. Raiyoyo because she was caught alone in the kitchen while she and Koii were baking cookies together, and Rokuku hated her because she tried to help Gobibi but ended up startling her*

* The way she was acting told him otherwise but if she didn't want to talk about it then he wouldn't force her.* If thou insists but we should take heed to the surface. Thou needs time to heal. * He helped her up off the coral and slowly swam with her to the surface.*

*she swam alongside him, a little faster than he, but was making sure she was taking it easy this time before she got another splitting headache. when they reached the surface it wasn't so pretty. storm clouds had gathered and you couldn't see a foot in front of you, and on top of that it was pounding down cold hard rain. Furara shivered, as the species she was combined with preferred warmer weather*

* The sudden pelting of rain took him by complete surprise. He actually liked the cold feeling it gave him considering his species but by Furara's face, he started to feel worried.* Art thou cold? If thou requires warmth, I know were we may go.

*she nodded and sunk in the water a little, trying to stay warm* It is a tad nippy... *when he spoke of warmer waters, she looked at him in great intrest and smiled a little* Could you show me please?

Tis a hidden cave near the shorelines. We must swim underneath to reach the hidden entrance; it shall keep us warmer there then out in the storm.* With that he dipped under the roughing waves and swam till the entrance(hidden by seaweed to the point it looked like an eel's entrance). Carefully he pushed aside the weeds and motioned for her to go through. It would lead right into the cave.*

*Furara followed him closely, to the best of her ability, despite the storm pushed her to and fro. however she managed to reach the sea weed entrance and dove inside. and like he said, there were much more warmer waters here than out there*

* Once in the safety of the cave, he sat on top of a small ledge with half of his body still in the water. The ceiling was dripping and he could hear the rain pouring now through the rocks.* Seems we lucked out here. If thou would'st mind my intrusion, but why were thee swimming down in thee trenches?

I-I was looking for you... Y'see... *and she explains that how she lost her coral home to the monsoon that hit earlier on in the year. although she had recovered most of her treasures, many were still lost at sea*

* As she talked about the monsoon, he remembered how the quake had shook his deep sea home ferociously to the point he had thought it was going to collapse on top of him. Luckily it stood against it and held, but his home on land was completely gone when he came up to see the damage.* Tis fate thou were sparred. A shame thine belongings were devoured by mine mistress. I shall help thee if thy wish.

*Furara pulled herself out of the water to lay down on her side. even some of the rocks were warm, then she remembered how her father explained that how magma might be thousands of feet deep, the heat still travels to the surface. 'We must be right above a lava tube...' she thought to herself as she sat up. when Rukeke proposed to help her out, she shook her head* I appreciate the offer, but I think I can handle myself. I know of an abandoned warehouse not far from here that has all sorts of interesting items. I believe I can improvise from those...

Good then. Tis a true blessing. * It was good to here that she had some plan to rebuild her life. He let himself relax in the heated pools as the sounds of the storm echoed above them.*

*Furara jolted when a severely loud clap of thunder went overhead, but immediately calmed down, obviously reassuring herself that it was just thunder. she closed her eyes and relaxed, knowing that if someone came in, they were to be in for a suprise*

*on this rare occasion, Furara was actually excited. she hurried to and from the bag of goodies she had taken from her house and was now dragging them into the water, tow or three at a time. she swam to the abyss where Rukeke lived and swam down ten feet to swim into a cooled out lava tube. while most people couldn't fit though, Furara was a perfect fit. she swam for a bit under the seabed before swimming up into a large airpocketed chamber. in all truth, it was a sealed off underwater volcano that had developed a pocket of oxygen within the volcano over time the air pocket had gotten bigger, and was now large enough to house two kerons. she smiled as she places in her treasures, wondering if Rukeke would mind at all*

*A jog down by the waters edge was just the thing Sorrel needed that morning. The smell of the water mixed into the early morning air was refreshing as she jogged in the slightly damp sand leaving a train of prints behind. She had needed a change in scenery after being stuck inside with a cold for the past few days, a result of her staying out to late. The early morning sun bounced off her more gold colored skin as she kept up a steady pace*
Hmm... the smell of the air is quite refreshing.

* A few feet away, Rukeke was sitting on a boulder along the shoreline. Waves crashing up and seeming to sparkle in the the morning light. He was sketching out the scene in his journal when he heard the sound of footsteps steadily approaching.*

* Even though he was squinting to try and get a better look, he knew that it was her somehow.*

*Sorrel stopped just short of the boulder for a breath. The girl stretched all of her arms outwards and back to relieve tension in her muscles. Her arms reflexively rotated around and her fists curled themselves into defensive positions like when she practiced each day. The coll air mixed with the smell of the water really did make her feel relaxed this morning. Licks of Ki energy sparked up and swirled about her arms before disparaging again.*
Ah, good to finally be outside again. *Sorrel mussed to herself absorbed in the feeling of how good it was to be out and about once again.*

* She hadn't seemed to spot him yet and watched as she streched about and did some of her routine. She most have been very busy from what he heard and put his journal away and slowly climbed off the boulder.*

* He waved over to her as he approached. The last thing he wanted to do was startle her and end up on the recieving end of a punch.*

*The voice snapped Sorrel out of her thoughts. The voice did not sound at all threatening and had the hint of familiarity to it. Sorrel's head tipped to the side about an inch. The typical gesture of her when she recalled something. The person approaching waved an arm in her direction and she took a moment to process who it was. That old Victorian type style of speaking gave a dead giveaway in the end.*
Ah Ruke! A pleasure to see you as well. It has been a while since we last spoke. *A half smile appeared on the fighter's face as she took her own steps towards the other person.*

*The fighter rolled her shoulders back one last time relieving the last bits of tension the had accumulated due to lack of activity these past few days. A comfortable breeze blew by as Rukeke let out a laugh. It was good to see the traveler again as she did enjoy hearing about his tales of travel.*
Are you wary again from your travels? My home is always open to you should you need a rest.

* The first two days back had him exhausted and felt like he was sick. Luckily he seemed to get back into his old swing of things. Speaking of homes though....*

*Sorrel thought back for a moment from the time she had first met Rukeke. He had stayed a few days in in that span of time they had gotten to know each other. The traveler had told Sorrel of the many places he had visited and promised to show the fighter his own home should they meet again.*

Oh that's pretty cool. Me and a friend planned on doing that at some point, since we both seem to have a pretty good idea of how we could work things out. It also helps that you guys are friends. *this was the final assault on the epaulette shark hybrid. this time they weren't looking for capture, they were going to downright kill her. Furara dodged through the alleys as the scientists closed in on her. she ran down a small alley and came to a fence, a small hole cut down at the bottom. Furara plunged her body though the hole, but was caught by her tail that hooked on the fraying wires. looking back, the scientists closed in on her with their dogs and she squirmed, only making it worse. at the end of the alley, she swore she saw Rukeke pass by. only one way to find out* Rukeke-San!!

*Pazuzu was walking along the beach,she would normally be alone,enjoying the scenery,but she wasn't. A Keronian that looked much like herself was right behind her,only differences between the two were the other had a dark aura,a long tail,2 sets of wings,and odd markings on her face,it was Pazuzu's demon,Zu*

* Not too far off, Rukeke was laying on the sand. After a days worth of traveling back and forth getting supplies for home, he was exhausted. He heard someone talking and sat up to see Pazuzu and.... Pazuzu? No she looked like her but then who was she?*
