Hello Nilli!
We have been rather inactive online recently, because our wedding is NEXT WEEK! It's crazy times, some of my family are over from UK so we are busy doing stuff and things. You can bet we will have loads of photos!
How are you? Hope the kitty is well

Photos!
Kitty is well, she's a teenager now. She's learned that a great way to get my attention is to do things she's not allowed to do.

Oh wow! That's my friend Mel from Melbourne.
I didn't know she was working on an alphabet, what a funny coincidence for you to send me that!
Thank you.
I'm doing alright, I've been busy working and saving up cash for when Tom comes over from Australia for a visit in December.
How about you?
(PS I haven't forgotten your bag...)

you're welcome
i'm ok. been working and saving my monies also. the roommates are finally out, so michael and i will be leaving the house too. the big day is the 29th. i'm so excited! it's a townhouse
so i've been kinda braindead and uncreative lately. mind if i too do my own alphabet? it's such an awesome idea. i probably wont start til i'm in the new place seeing as how all my art stuff is already boxed. but soon!
ps, it's ok, been broke anyways

Oh, congratulations - that's great! Is it your first time living together without anyone else there too?
Yeah do your own alphabet! It's not like I invented it. I found it gave me lots of focus rather than searching my brain randomly for ideas that wouldn't come. I look forward to seeing yours.

Hey! Yea of course I remember you love! Haha. Anyway, in response to your comment on my blog, you've gone to 2 ATPs before?! Sweetas! Which ones were they, who curated them?

Yeah, I went to a couple in 2005 - one by Vincent Gallo and one by The Mars Volta. They were the most awesome ever - because I liked so many bands that were playing it was definitely worth the money! I also met Vincent Gallo, John Frusciante and Sean Lennon, hehe.
Line ups
I'd love to go again now I'm back but the line ups this year in the UK aren't quite to my taste. Wish I could have gone to a couple of the ones in 2006 by Thurston Moore and The Shins.

The Mars Volta?! Awesome!! I saw them when they were here, and omg, so so good! Would've been awesome to see a lineup of bands handchosen by them! Lucky you!
OMG! Battles! Blonde Redhead! Antony and the Johnsons! UGH! Ugggghhh! Lol. I've heard quite a bit about The Cinematic Orchestra and Holy Fuck as well. Haven't heard any of the bands for the Vincent Gallo one though.

ChungaMunga In reply to l0stwhispers [2008-10-23 21:12:31 +0000 UTC]
Haha I know! Yeah those bands were all awesome - and I also really got into the Cinematic Orchestra. They pretty much showed this weird Russian film, and they played straight through the entire score live. It was weird but great.
And Antony and the Johnsons sang a song about fish and chips.
You must have heard at least a few from the Vincent Gallo one... Peaches? Yoko Ono?

Silly!
Actually, I'm really excited. I so wanted to see Sigur Ros in Melbourne in August because the gig they played was on my birthday... but I had gone back to England by then. And when I got back here all the UK dates here were sold out! But they announced another gig... in Reykjavik.
So I booked a flight there to go see them on Nov 23rd.

Hi! Yeah things are going alright so far. I've found myself a nice flat to move into next week and I'm really enjoying it here. Plus I'm going to adopt a kitty cat soon!
How are you finding uni this semester? I'm really looking forward to seeing everyones work at the end!

SleepyVoodle In reply to ChungaMunga [2008-08-24 13:46:30 +0000 UTC]
Sounds awesome.
Good idea to adopt a kitty, you gain a pet & save a life too. ^_____^
He or she shall be a lucky kitty.
Well I'm finding this semester to be crazy busy.
We have a number of large assignments going on all at the same time. @__@
At the moment I'm working on 2 2D animations, a 3D Character Model + animation & Japanese (as my free elective)
There's the lecture as well, but that doesn't really count...
So things are very VERY busy.
I'm just finishing up a walk cycle for 2D, I'll try to put it up onto dA when it's all done.
Ok, well hope everything continues to go great for you over there, I'm off to shower then sleep.
Talk to you again soon-ish.
