It really is! For me the struggle is that I know what kind of original stuff I want to be making, but I know you've got to get through the boring basics first... I have the patience of a 5 year old haha :') And thanks!!

Hiiii, and thanks! I know what you mean, I have a lot of friends who are professional artists and have been learning since middle school, sadly I never had the opportunity to as art wasn't taught in my school! It's a bit daunting starting this late but I guess it's better late than never  Your stuff looks great, too, and it can only get better from here - exciting!

Same! We didn't really have art classes until I got to High school and at that point, most of the students were way above my level so I didn't really have the courage to really start drawing until right at my senior year. It is a bit daunting but very rewarding in the end! 
And thank you! It is exciting to think about where my art could be in a year or so. XD I've already seen a lot of improvement in my digital art since I started last year, so it's nice to know that hard work and practice is rewarded! We just have to keep at it and we'll get where we want to be!

Yeah! It's always inspiring to see other "late" starters! I know of people who work as artists who haven't started until they were my age, so hey, it's possible!

Exactly! I always look at old scribbles (which now look super bad) to remind myself that however slow it might seem it's still progress Just need to put the work in! I'm looking forward to seeing what you get up to in a year!
